Great insights but poor customer experience

Zoe gave me really valuable insights in the way my body processes food and how it responds to different foods. It made me conscious of what to eat and what not, how to combine foods to stay healthy. However, I was really disappointed to find out that I was being charged by an ongoing subscription. I ordered a one month subscription along with the starting kit. Even though I specifically chose this for one month only I didn't receive a notification and found out I was being charged for another month. It's very costly and it made me realise that making money is a bigger priority for Zoe than helping people becoming healthier.

I have never experienced such a…

I have never experienced such a patience with a company. They are so easy to contact, they never waste time getting back to you, and they help you with absolutely every step. I messed things up a couple of times and they were so compassionate and never made me feel like I was troubling them.

Cannot believe how impressed I am with…

Cannot believe how impressed I am with Zoe - 1 month in and results already noticeable, with weight loss and reduced waistline. I already ate reasonably well and exercised regularly but couldn’t understand why weight, blood sugar and cholesterol were all still going in the wrong direction! Now I know… and with relatively easy tweaks to my diet and a better understanding of what foods work for me I am on my way!! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Disappointing Experience and Poor App Quality

I signed up for Zoe's 4-month subscription hoping to learn more about my gut health, but I'm extremely disappointed. They didn't allow me to try the app before committing, and now I see why. The app is incredibly slow, clunky, and crashes regularly, making it nearly impossible to use. I haven't found any value in it, yet I'm still being charged each month with nothing to show for it. Customer support took forever to respond and was ultimately unhelpful with my complaint. I feel like I'm just wasting money at this point. Very frustrating experience.

The whole experience has been very…

The whole experience has been very positive. When the pack arrived I could see what I was paying for. The tests were well guided and the information for me was very interested. The results were informative and now I feel guided to think about my food combinations each day. I like the chat group but I am a food nerd and there is a lot of support and different ways to get questions answered. On the whole I am enjoying my experience and I would recommend it for a personalised approach to feeding your body the way it needs to be fed. It makes sense to me and I have had no junk since I started and I am eating more variety of foods in greater quantities. I think it helps if you like food and cooking, which I do😊

Zoe is working for me

Zoe is working for me. I enjoy seeing real results in my food decisions, I’ve been keeping a food log for many years because I suffered from migraines. The migraines have dissipated so far, with Zoe it has been great to see the blood fat/ sugar element added for me. I am truly finding the benefits of the app and have lost an extra 7 pounds of weight from the recommendations of swapping ingredients.. I appreciate the lifestyle changes that I am making and know that it will continue.Thank you Zoe…

So far so good…

The whole testing process was clear and easy to follow. Took me a while to get my head around my personal reports so I booked a quick coaching call which clarified lots of things. Since then I’ve got into logging and finding the “gamification” element of the app really useful. It helps me understand where what I’m eating isn’t ideal - I’m not sure I’ve ever dashed out in an afternoon to make sure I have vegetables for dinner! It will be interesting to see how long it takes to start to feel better, more energetic etc.

Loving life with ZOE.

I am now in my fourth week with ZOE. I am feeling very different about myself. I am much more positive about my health and have loads of energy. Having spent years following different diet programmes this is totally different and life changing. The resources and learning are brilliant. The support of the community is fabulous and having a coach who gives practical advise is amazing. I am loving my journey with ZOE.

Be warned you cannot cancel when you…

Be warned you cannot cancel when you want! Initial testing is good but then it's just a poor food diary that's very expensive for what it is and you can't cancel out of it if you don't like it. The app is full of issues resulting in missed days and a lot of fitness products aren't on here to see your result for. I wouldn't recommend.

When I first started with the Zoe…

When I first started with the Zoe program I was a bit confused but now I’m starting to know how it works and the logic behind it. Simple and practical to use with loads of recipes to help us all the way through and guidance which is so important coming from professionals. Also like input of any recipe and the suggestions that we get to have a balanced meal at all times. Just wish that more people could use it. I can honestly say that I’m feeling much better overall by following the plan

Zoe takes the mystery out of being human

Zoe has created a system and platform to help you to truly understand how your body is unique. Once you understand how nutrition directly impacts your body functions and overall health you can take control. It’s the life skill I never knew I needed.

Steady sustained transition

I really like how the ZOE app is actively managed and personalized to me. I also really like the podcasts, they help make sense of the food scores and recommendations. I have had lots of questions for the coaches and have had app technology explained to me as well as citations for research papers depending on my questions. I have been using the app consistently for almost a year now and plan to keep renewing my membership.

I can't describe the weight loss and waist circumference changes others write about, but I have come off my blood pressure pill and my "bad" LDL cholesterol came down 20 points. My 40 years of chronic constipation is dramatically improved.

I am slowly recovering from a bout of viral encephalitis four years ago and the ZOE approach integrates well with the other holistic approaches I am applying in order to regain my circadian rhythms, strength and endurance and mental clarity.

I don't think ZOE is a quick fix, but I think it's great for anyone willing to put in the time and build their knowledge base and have a little fun. I make kefir and sprouted beans with my grandchildren (not a requirement of the ZOE program). I am much less black-and-white about food choices and can enjoy a restaurant meal or eating with somebody who eats lots of meat and processed foods.

ZOE has 5 stars from me.

All good- Zoe app works well and you can contact about concerns which are quickly replied to. Sadly personalising someone who is gluten free causes some issues with the bots but hopefully they will learn fast and adapt.😁

Quick response that resolved the issue

I'd just signed up for the Zoe tests, then my Zoe App crashed. The recommended way to communicate with Zoe is by Chat in the App, which was not possible in this instance. I therefore sent Zoe an email (as advised by their website) saying I needed urgent help, as I was unable to start their tests (the App guides you through these) and I had set aside a day (the following one) to do the tests as you need to fast and devote much of the day to the tests.
I got a very quick reply from Heather who sorted everything out fully.

Worth every penny

I thought about doing this for a long time, because it's a reasonable financial and practical investment to do the tests and also make resulting changes to your diet. I am so glad I did. The tests gave me the most insightful understanding of how my body works and the dietary advice alongside bitesize lessons, has been a game changer in understanding the impact of what and when I eat.

The Zoe Nutritionist

The Zoe Nutritionist, Hannah, was hugely helpful in my quest to increase my protein intake. She was positive and encouraging and came up with loads of ideas and recipes focused on my personal Zoe scores. I’m feeling very positive about how best to move forward and won’t hesitate to reach out for 1:1 help again if I need it in the future.
