I’ve been using Lumen almost two years now and, quite frankly, it has changed my life. When I started, I was 70 years old, morbidly obese and, in an effort to lose weight, had reduced my caloric intake to 800 calories. Years of yo-yo dieting and post-menopausal weight gain had left me feeling frustrated and hopeless. I’m now 70 pounds lighter and feeling healthier and stronger than I have in years!

Wonderful product that taught me the percentages of food that I needed to eat, personalized to my body type. You don’t have to accept a one size fits all diet plan/percentage. This is great tool to help me reach my weight loss goals.

I love having this tool combined with the app. It serves as a means of objective feedback and accountability (to myself) as I learn to lose weight without keto(sis). I had no idea how much protein I would need without the app to show me. I am more aware of my need for sleep and exercise too, since data from the lumen reflects the impact. I hate a lot of rules to follow, but so far, I know using Lumen is helping me strive to be more compliant in order to lose weight and be healthier.

Gives good insight to the amount of time it takes for my body to burn off carbs to actually work on burning fat.

I do wish it would show the calories burned from workouts subtracted from the calories I’ve consumed on the home page.

Lumen has given me an insight to why I may have been doing something wrong with my diet. It's been a few days and am still gaining information that is helping me find a better way to a healthy metabolism. Added bonus, it's really much easier than any other approach I've tried. Yes! It's actually working!

Last week, on September 11, 2024, I canceled this program before renewal. However, I was still charged $299.00 the next day. I spoke with a customer service representative who assured me she canceled it and issued a refund. Despite this, the program is still active, and I still receive messages from the company. I am yet to see the refund. I am considering contacting my financial institution, PayPal, and the Better Business Bureau to report this company for predatory business practices. It is frustrating that I cannot stop the service and obtain a refund.

They charge a steep price on the hardware but say you will have “unlimited readings”, however they then expect you to pay $19/month on a subscription if you want to know the actual carbs to fat % you are burning on each reading. Without the subscription this device is near useless by design.

Straight Talk on Healthy Living: Instead of empty advice, like "eat a healthy meal", Lumen explains how the food you ate today is beneficial to, or works to the detriment of, your health goals, advising you on how you can improve your diet and your overall health.

IMHO, having Lumen on nightstand is like having a dedicated dietitian and health coach on call, 24x7, for less than what you'd spend on cup of coffee and bagel.

Lumen is sure to become your valued companion in your journey to a healthy body and spirit. It's good stuff.

Lumen is great to tweak your eating plan in order to maximize your results. If you are not ready to commit to clean eating, Lumen will be of little value. It’s very helpful in my goal to burn fat while preserving muscle.

Before I got my Lumen, I was struggling with my health, constantly run-down. My blood work was all normal, so I didn't understand what was wrong. I have pretty healthy habits, and I've done intermittent fasting for years, but I was making a few key mistakes that I wouldn't have discovered without Lumen. In my first week, I lost a pound a day, in part because I was fasting in a way that worked for my body. I had no idea I was over fasting before, and wearing out my mitochondria with my dinner choices. I hesitated to get the Lumen because of the expense, but it is so so worth it.

It’s fake. Take the test, and then take another when it allows as a control and it will give you, not only slightly, but entirely different readings. They take no returns and no cancelations on yearly plans and won’t respond to questions. Avoid this snake oil company.
