Total Rip off scheme.

After completing a substantial amount of offers, giving out my personal information (Fingerhut etc) and then being bombarded by calls and email because I guess they sell your information...i still haven't amassed $30 because (and i quote)

"Please know that you are credited for all Cash opportunities immediately after the Advertiser reports to us that you completed their Opportunity and issues credit to us.

This means that if you do not have credit for a Cash Offer, not only do we not have that credit either - we also have not been informed that you completed the Offer."

That's the prefabricated email everyone receives as their reason why you haven't gotten credited even though I saved all confirmation emails, screenshot of apps downloaded & levels reached they still have not credited $30 and I've earned way more than that so total ripoff and now my phone won't stop ringing from other scams!!

I'm a little surprised at some of the …

I'm a little surprised at some of the negative reviews. On "Billy's Spin Wheel", I've hit the $5.00 increment twice in the last 30 days. I've hit the $1.00 at least four times this year, and the nickel more times than I can count.

I agree the 30 minute + surveys for a quarter are ridiculous.

I participate in In Box dollars usually at work when I have down time. I started in mid-October of last year. That allowed me to put away about $200 before Christmas which I used as gift cards. This year I haven't done as much, but am up to about $180. It isn't that hard to do.

Payments are easy and delivered when they say they will deliver.

I use Inbox Dollars, Swagbucks, and Harris Polls. The rest for me have been pretty bad. You aren't going to make a ton of money with any of these, but in my case it's an easy way to put away a few dollars to be used as Christmas gifts.

Sweeps? A cheesy gimmick!

I've been with InboxDollars for almost 4 years now. Never had any problem getting paid(always select check). The only problems I see are the meaningless "sweeps", the surveys that pay a minuscule amount(if you qualify)and the spinning wheel. The "sweeps' seem like a gimmick to keep the rubes thinking that they've actually won something. The surveys that reward you with $0.25 for 30 minutes of answering questions? That is a monumental waste of your time. As for "Billy's Spin & Win", it reminds me of a carnival huckster shouting - "step right up and try your luck at the Wheel of Fortune", ignore the fact that the odds are monumentally against you winning a $1, as for winning the $5 prize - you have a better chance of getting hit by lightning on a sunny cloudless day.

Inboxdollars will pay.

I've been with inbox dollars down for proximately 27 days and I reach $30 The beginning of February here we are on the 15th and I am still not paid they hold three dollars if you get a visa but they still hold three dollars if you don't get the actual card anyway it's steady and it does pay I definitely recommend it take you a while to get there at first but afterwords I start trucking along

It's not too good

You can earn money, but it takes a long time to reach the $30 minimum because their surveys don't pay much. After you reach the minimum amount, they hold $3 as some sort of fee. If someone was looking to earn money taking surveys, there are others that pay a lot more, and will give you all of your money. I would only recommend Inbox Dollars as a last resort.

Renee,

Thank you for the feedback!

Did you know that when you request a payment we have promotions for members to waive the $3.00 fee and that we deposit $3.00 back into your account once
payment is processed to get you started again?! This is a great way to help you get you on your way to earning and cashing out again.

No problems

I've been with Inboxdollars for 5 months and have cashed out three times for $30+. It does take awhile to earn there but they ARE legit. I have numerous other sites I use as well and make decent money with all the sites combined. On Inboxdollars I do the paid emails, daily search and some surveys although I don't qualify for many of them. You will not get rich at any paid survey site but if you put in a little effort, you can make some spare cash. I highly recommend Inboxdollars.

Used to be great.

It use to be good but now the payments are very small for surveys. Who wants to take a 30 minute survey for 25 cents?? And it takes forever to get the final payout of $30. Also the Billy's Spin and Win is rigged because it never ever lands on the $5. No one has ever gotten the $5. I never had a problem with customer service, they have always been pretty helpful. I think I'll just close out my account after this last payment. It really is a waste of time.

You can make some money, but it takes forever to earn the minimum payout amount.

Inboxdollars is the worst survey site I have used, but is still legit. The minimum payout amount is $30, and it takes months to earn that on there, while on other sites (like Swagbucks) it's easy to make $25-$150 or more a month, although $150 is pretty hard to hit in one month, but survey sites can't pay like actual jobs.

I often consider deleting my Inboxdollars account after I receive my next paycheck, because it pays so much less than other survey sites, and takes much longer to earn than other survey sites.

I qualify for less surveys on Inboxdollars than other survey sites.

Swagbucks and Survey Junkie are MUCH better than Inboxdollars.

Should be called InboxLiesAboutGivingDollars

I have tried these sorts of things many times before across various companies and most of them are extremely fake and don't pay much of anything if anything at all. InboxDollars may seem legit but after trying it a few times I'm convinced it's definitely not.

The only money I've made so far on it was the $5 promo. The rest of the stuff I get invites tricking me into thinking I am going to qualify and earn something for it then about a little less than halfway through completion I always get told I don't qualify or I qualified but I didn't meet the necessary criteria to finish it even though I qualified at first which is complete bullcrap, fake, lies, scammy, and cheating people for even bothering to do any of it in the first place!

I'm deleting my inboxdollars account and continuing to stick with Microsoft Bing Rewards since at least I know for a fact that their rewards program is legit 100% to earn great stuff from them instead without being cheated!

immoral frauds!

I was a customer for a while, but recently when I went to request a check they closed my account... finally I got them to reopen it, then they closed it AGAIN as they simply do not want to pay up!!
They are thieves & immoral fraudsters, plain & simple... hiding behind a TOS that they selectively enforce makes them more frauds than thieves I guess!

With them since 2007- left & will not return

Terrible customer service
They still owe me money
check them out on bbb.org (Better Business Bureau)
Slowly make money but you've experience a lot of technical issues and not be credited for various payments. I've worked in a start-up w/ a lot of technical failures that couldn't be explained because there were so many limitations... Inbox has just lost a LONG TERM MEMBER who had spread the word about the company a lot. Mommy groups, survey takers...good leads and even at the gym. I spread the word a lot and didn't even get referrals for it, I just supported the company.
Dec of 2011 and Jan of 2012 were the last straw. I had the most ignorant customer service rep., didn't even say Hi, sent me a form response BEFORE I ASK A QUESTION. Then logged off. I Live chatted again and had to escalate the email. I'm still trying to get my $50 and have now left InboxDollars and am live chatting as I type trying to get what is owed to me but it looks like I have to file a BBB complain and contact the HQ which is actually out west... ridiculous

Earn cash for shopping online and clicking through emails.

I use inboxdollars.com occasionally to shop online and earn cash back. I also click through the emails and earn $.o2 per email. Every little bit helps.
I have to admit, the emails can be a lot. I check them daily so they don't add up. If I end up with too many to go through, I just delete them.
I do wish inboxdollars.com offered more stores to shop through. I can not always find retailers that I want to shop at, so I have found that I earn more quickly on some other similar sites. Otherwise I have had no complaints. Inboxdollars.com is a good site for earning cash back on your online activities. I love that inboxdollars.com pays you cash back not giftcards or prizes.
