Had to call customer service multiple…

Had to call customer service multiple times on a Sunday night. Sunday night CS calls are evidently sent over seas. I could hear EVERYTHING going on in the background. Sounded like they were watching a soccer game or celebrating a birthday. On the 3rd call I found someone that could help me. I had to resort to calling because the chat is a bot and completely useless. I just got a new iPhone. Probably should've given Verizon a try this time although I doubt that would be much different. I'll wait until Monday for support to avoid the offshore call center

AT&T’s iPhone Preorder Disaster: A Customer's Breaking Point

As every year, AT&T's chaos on the day Apple opens preorders for the new iPhone was unbelievable, and this year was the worst of all. After dealing with the constant issues on their website and thinking I had finally placed my order, it was canceled. I tried a few more times, and each attempt ended the same way. I finally spoke with a customer service agent, but after two hours of conversation, even he couldn’t figure out what the problem was.

It’s frustrating and disappointing. After 14 years with AT&T, I’ve decided to look for another provider. The service quality has dropped too much, and it’s clear they don’t care about their customers or providing decent service.

Lousy low quality phones

Charger wears quickly so that connection is loose and hard to charge as plug keeps coming out of hole. Also on this year old galaxy phone, the earbud connection doesn't work anymore so you can't hear audio through earbuds. Tried three different sets of earbuds

I haaaate At&t! The greediest most money hungry cell phone company ever! The employee info is all over the place. I paid a $25 home internet bill a day late and was charged $35 which is ridiculous. I'll be finding a new service provider cuz I truly dislike At&t

AT&T is the ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE…

AT&T is the ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE. Always dropping calls, no service in retail stores, poor connection, slow speed, just a let down. We were told they use the same towers as Verizon. WHAT A LIE. Changing as soon as our contract is complete with them.

Service sucks from wait time phone 25 min to 45 mins been down 3 days tell you fix and restore by next day from 10 am to 5 pm ,no updates or where the problem is at . They just don't care because it's not their problem

Great customer service from Theresa Wall !

I don’t remember the exact date but about 2 weeks ago we went into the local Columbus, Georgia AT&T store on Macon Road needing account assistance. After listening to our situation Theresa Wall went above and beyond what we were expecting for customer service! She immediately greeted us, listened to our situation, not only did what we needed but offered other suggestions all while being patient and kind. Great job Theresa! Thank you.

Untrustworthy

AT&T could not be more predatory.
When they want your business, you'll see them every single day. But when you are trying to leave their service, it will be near impossible to reach anyone. I have wasted so many hours of my life going back & forth with them, only to be given false transfer PINs and false account numbers. Additionally, they've had so many data breaches that I really don't trust them with my info.
For nearly $100/month, you'd think I could at least receive good customer service. But all I've gotten is lies. Don't get sucked into their trap.

Just one bad thing after another…

When they installed new fiber to my house, replacing the other kind at their request, they sent an inexperienced guy who left the wires under the house mostly just lying on the ground of the crawl space. When I called him to come back and fix this, he still left some of the wires in the way of anyone accessing it to get to the furnace, pipes, etc.

Then just recently I bought a webcam and found that their internet speed is too variable to use it with both sound and image. This is using their new fiber wires and a wired connection, not wifi, in a residential neighborhood in the city limits. Now they want to sell me more speed, without any assurance it will fix the variable problem, also called latency I think.

Now I try to pay my bill online without signing in, which they offer. Both of my credit cards were rejected, despite no other business having trouble with them.

So tired of them. I actually remember a time when businesses cared about their reputation and provided good service.

This website asks for a date of the problem, but mine covers several years of frustration, so I just used the date of this post instead.

Was swindled and conned to make a…

Was swindled and conned to make a payment that w would restore service for Internet. After making payment, they cut service 10 days into the cycle without notice or warning and demanded the remaining balance was paid. Then spoke to an idiot named Josh, who really thought he was 11' tall over the phone, who was rude, hostile, confrontational, and unprofessional. Then refused to transfer me to his supervisor to discuss the issue since he was no help whatsoever, then disconnecting the call after waiting on the line falsely attempting to get his supervisor right before the call center closed. Had that service over 10 years, and that imbecile managed in a matter of minutes to kill all interest in retaining them as a provider. There's no way Josh should be employed by ATT, and knowing they're paying him to act that way has made me consider giving other providers a chance to gain business, especially since there's a need to update account information due to life events. They are crooks and I recommend you never ever use them for anything other than nothing.

I Hate ATT

It has taken more than two hours to get thru to customer service on multiple occasions.

An ATT employee sold my password that led to locking down our bank account for a week while someone tried to hack our bank account. No compensation from ATT.

Recently waited more than two days for service people to show up. Untrained and didn’t have command of the English language. Rude. Had to wait for another person to show up.

Went without Astros games for more than three months last year (the only reason we continue to have direct tv), no compensation and Now AGAIN! $30 credit this month and have to call back next month if direct tv still fails to provide what we are paying for! Are you kidding me?

Last spring att laid new line in my neighborhood. Workers who also didn’t speak English buried blooming bluebonnets when the dirt could have been easily thrown on the other side of the hole and spared the flowers!

Supervisor claimed a note was left on our door that the work was scheduled. Never happened.

We were home when they started the work. They never showed enough respect for the people who planted those flowers or the taxes we pay for this property! They could knocked on our damn door!

Been a customer for over 5 years with…

Been a customer for over 5 years with ATT. There Tv bundles use to be good but last few years the prices have gone up and not to mentioned that every years you will have issues with missing channels due to expired agreements that end up affecting customers. For the las lot 2 weeks I have not been able to view several college games and other shows and will miss tonight’s NFL Monday night football as well. Not a happy customer, will be switching providers in the next month.

AT&T used to be a good reliable company…

AT&T used to be a good reliable company to deal with. Things have changed; they no longer honor their contracts at this time. We've had problems with our phone and were told a tech would check the line at 8:00 am this morning. No one ever arrived or contacted anyone. Called AT&T and was promised a tech would arrive by noon. No one ever arrived or contacted us. Called AT&T again; this time they said a tech would be here between 1:30 and 4:00 pm - never showed up or contacted anyone. AT&T is supposedly open between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm but it's clear no one is coming, especially since customer service reps have been instructed not to provide names of techs assigned to a job or provide any info on their supervisors. This is about avoiding accountability, and it's also taking jobs away from people who are actually willing and able to work, Filed with the FCC and about to file with the PUC, will probably leave a complaint on BBB's website so everyone can be made aware AT&T has become completely unreliable.

I would give them a negative

I would give them a negative, if I could. Bottom line 20+ yrs as a customer finally moved to T-mobile about a year ago. I cut my bill literally in half. Best decision ever. But AT&T is not done with me. I tried to turn on one of my old phones. They are trying to get $500 for a watch line which they say has to be turned off separately. The charged me 75 a month for close to 6 mo and included late fees. What a ripoff? Run away, far away from this corrupt company. Never received so much as a notice regarding this.

Was changing my service to ATT

Was changing my service to ATT. Did all the signing up and had schedule the installation. Two days before ,we get a text saying the installation was canceled and they would contact us within seven days! Tried calling two days straight without getting through and the one time I did, I was on hold over 45 minutes. No thank you! Glad I was able to see how they treat their customers. I called another provider got through right away and my bill is actually cheaper than ATT.
Thanks for nothing ATT!

Cannot be trusted and completely overpriced

After 9 years I finally had to find something better. Between the constant nag for new equipment and services and pop up odd fees and the constant push for autopay and most of all the price for what you get in return is not worth it. The ONLY good thing is I Never had signal problems anyplace in the world which is why I stayed with them for so long but that's where the good part stops. Being switched to autopay when I specifically told them not to was a complete violation of trust. They have cost me time and money in bank overdrafts and other issues and the best they have is 3GB of data which is garbage by today's standards. Their home internet speeds are terrible and they have bandwidth caps and are one of the only companies that still has them. They are just not up with the state of technology and the prices are terrible. It was time for us to part ways

Awful return experience

Ordered a phone case from them. Came defective. Couldn’t return at any local store locations (due to not being corporate locations). The returns customer service line (stated on the invoice receipt) wouldn’t do anything and told me to go to the store. Wasted my time and money. Had to do a charge back.
