I recently bought a new pair of shoes at Rock Creek North Shore. I don't buy new shoes often, or lightly. Grant was very helpful, informative, and knowledgeable regarding all the different aspects to choosing the correct shoes for my feet. He was patient, listened to me, very polite, and super-friendly! I will shop here again because he made my experience great!

We have shopped at Uncle Dans/Gearyead

Have shopped at Uncle Dans/Gearhead for years and have always had great experiences. We went shopping there on Sunday (6/17) and were quite unhappy with the experience. There were three of us looking for items and the clerks were totally uninterested in helping us. They did not greet us when we entered the stir - nor did they once ask if they could assist us. My husband found a couple items to buy, and when he went to pay he had to stand by the counter and wait until one of the two clerks turned around from visiting with the other clerk. There ere some other shoppers in there that were like wise being ignored!

If there was a University of Customer Service, Rock Creek North Shore would certainly have a building in that complex. Head of School would be professors Jim, Marissa & Paige, who each hold PhDs in customer service, in my opinion. As customers enter the front door, they are greeted kindly and shown or directed to their area of interest. Such a pleasant experience from professionals who know their extensive product line and can answer most pertinent questions.

Many retail businesses would benefit from their skills since customer service today is mostly mentioned in history books. They have hit upon a winning formula which remains a cornerstone of Rock Creek's success. Keep the spirit. Regards, Jim T.

I have shopped at Gearhead Outfitters in Jonesboro for over 20 years. I have bought multiple bikes, accessories, clothes, shoes etc. I have never had a bad experience and consider myself to be a loyal customer. Will buy from again.

I have been a fan of Rock Creek Outfitters for years but never so much as I am now after purchasing two eBikes from Rock Creek Riverside. Upon our first visit, my fiancé and I were comfortable that we were in the right place to learn about Specialized bikes. Julian began by getting to know us a little to understand what kind of riding we planned on doing. Then he knowledgably and patiently described the features and benefits of several models, answering our questions along the way before giving us the opportunity to test ride bikes in the parking lot. We were making a diligent comparison between the Specialized bikes and those of another manufacturer so, in truth, the representatives of that brand saw us often also. We became such frequent visitors to Rock Creek Riverside that Julian, Patrick, Brett, Nick and Ryker, all well versed in product knowledge and avid users of their products, greeted us by name as Josie and I gathered information regarding the utility and mechanical specifications of several bikes. Ultimately, we settled on The Tero X5 and the Como 3.0. We were well advised. The quality of these bikes is amazing! Logging well over one hundred miles in our first week, we are proud to get “second looks” and compliments from admirers as we meet along the trails and bicycle paths. Chattanooga has so many nice places to ride. Julian’s team helped us find those too. We highly recommend the “Cool Kids” at Rock Creek Riverside for providing the best advice and PERSONALIZED service on bikes as well as a variety of items in their wide assortment of the highest quality, methodically selected, outdoor recreational merchandise.

Ignorant people. Walked in to look for some outdoor gears. Was never greeted or talked to. Never was approached by any of store staff. I had to ask and when did, two different people didnt even look at me. Made me feel like I didnt belong there or they act like I couldnt afford anything there. I continue my observation and they were all smiles and happy when it came to other people. Maybe I wasnt their skin type. Screw that place. Dont deserve a penny from me.

Absolutely love the Patagonia Down With It jacket I bought. Medium fit standard US sizing and jacket quality is great. Price competitive. Wasn’t sure I’d like “Stingray Mauve” color but it’s a good neutral pinkish taupe. Company good and reliable shipping. Loved everything about this purchase. Would buy again in another color.

I went into gear head today just browsing for things and ended up looking at running shoes (as runners commonly do). Every employee was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about these shoes and that made it such a great experience. Finding other running nerds is my favorite. These days it is a challenge to find good quality customer service but not when it comes to Gearhead. They promptly responded to my email and took care of the issue quickly in a friendly and helpful manner. They even followed up to make sure I got their emails and understood how to proceed with an exchange. I will definitely order from them again!
