Seriously, just read the other reviews. Bike is smaller than described, arrived with badly damaged paint and they only offered some touch up paint, and overall parts are cheaper than what they are supposed to be. Feels like a classic bait and switch.

Even the cheap Rad bikes would have been a better purchase.

Over promised and under delivered

Over promised and under delivered! Parts that were marketed on their website were switched out during production without notice for cheaper less quality products. They also failed to mention that this bike would not perform well on hills.

Additionally, there is no customer service to mention and when you express your dissatisfaction they don’t respond and block you from their FB Teleport VIP page.

There were no assembly instructions with the product and poorly produced video.

Initially offered a 10 Day Return Policy but they are not honoring that now. Wonder why?

The product that was promised was NOT…

The product that was promised was NOT the product that was delivered. Few of the specs which made the bike so attractive in the first place were actually included. Regardless of the reasons or excuses, the company clearly did NOT deliver what they promised. The misinformation and false statements continued right up until delivery, so they clearly knew what they were doing.
As excited as I was to get this bike, and as much as I wanted to LOVE it, this has been a major disappointment. Buyer beware!

Do not buy this bicycle

The company promised a custom built bike with a number of features and they delivered a very sub-par product. They advertised a 750W motor with a 28mph top speed. The maximum speed on maximum assist is just over 20MPH. The first 2 levels of assist provide almost no assist. They promised 2 frame sizes but only delivered one size. More problematic they offered a 10 day return policy which they then rescinded and took off their website. Negative reviews on their Facebook page are deleted and unhappy customers blocked from the page. Belt drive is not as advertised. Lights listed at $100 are worth about $20. Leather seat and grips promised, cheap plastic versions delivered. They promised a Panasonic battery and delivered no name battery. My bike happened to fit ( I am 6" tall) but many buyers are too small for the bike and are now stuck with a bike they cannot use. Buy a bike from an established brand.

Amazing Bike, Incredible Experience!

I recently received my bike, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! It was definitely worth the wait. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell the build quality was top-notch. The packaging was excellent. The sleek design is even more stunning in person, and the hidden battery makes it look so streamlined.

But the real magic is in the ride. The self-charging feature is an absolute game-changer—I never have to worry about running out of battery even on long trips. It’s smooth, fast, and handles incredibly well in the city and on gravel trails. It really extends the range and I’ve travelled 100 miles on one ride so far with a single charge in pedal assist mode.

The acceleration is so satisfying, and the range is more than enough for my daily commute and weekend rides.

My bike was a size 1 and it fits me perfectly at 5’7. The saddle is really comfortable and great for longer rides.

I love the belt drive setup. First time I try a bike with this instead of chain drive and it feels super smooth, almost like riding on clouds.

Customer support was also fantastic, keeping me updated throughout the delivery process with long detailed updates and videos from the factory. I’ve been recommending this bike to everyone I know. Worth every penny!

You’ve got a customer for life!

Stay away from this company!

This company took 11 months to deliver a bike that did not meet any of the advertised specifications. I attempted to cancel my order 6 months before delivery and was denied, and then again right after delivery and they wouldn’t honor their 10 Day Return Policy. Stay away from this company!

Failed to honor return policy as…

When I placed my order (i.e. gave them almost $2000) with Teleport in October of 2023 they had a 10 day return policy in effect. By the time I received the bike in September of 2024 they had changed their policy to NO RETURNS. I received the bike on September 6, asked for a refund on September 13th and was turned down and I am writing this on September 15th. I have asked and I am asking for a refund within the 10 day refund period that was in effect at time of purchase. They failed to honor return policy as written at time of purchase. Promised bike in February delivered in September. Promised name brand parts such as gates carbon belt and Italian leather seat, delivered generic belt and vinyl covered seat. Sent bikes with kilometers for units to US and sent bikes with miles for units to Canada and did not offer a replacement or exchange of this part to me. No spare parts availability. Customer service is non existent and consists of canned emails. Do not buy from this company.

My husband has purchased this bike more than a year ago., we are getting only emails stating it’s getting shipped.. in this day and age nothing should be this complicated.. I ordered a custom car from overseas and it took a shorter amount of time..

Bike received does not match what was…

Bike received does not match what was advertised. Not class 3, not 28 mph, not Italian leather grips or seat, not gates belt, not integrated lights. Company is bait and switch.

Exceeded My Expectations in Every Way!

I just got my Teleport Ride bike, and WOW, I couldn’t be more impressed. First of all, the bike looks exactly like it does on the website—actually, scratch that, it looks even BETTER in person! The sleek design, the hidden battery, everything about it screams quality. I was nervous ordering such a big item online, but honestly, the bike was exactly as advertised, and I’m beyond happy with my decision.

Riding it has been an absolute blast. I've put over 500 miles on it so far and love it. The bike has been super reliable and fun to ride. The self-charging feature is no joke—I've been riding around my city for hours without worrying about the battery running low. Plus, it's surprisingly fast! I expected a good ride, but this is next-level. I commute to work on it now, and it makes my trip so much smoother and more fun. No more dealing with traffic or finding parking.

The bike is super easy to use, and it feels solid and safe, which was really important for me.

Assembly was straightforward, and the customer service was great throughout the process—kept me updated on shipping and delivery, and it arrived right on schedule. I received long email updates with factory images from Gus, which I really appreciated.

The parts are super high quality. Mine has hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro. The parts and the built quality are both top-notch. I can tell based on the components they used that they spared no expense building this bike.

I weighed my bike and it weight just 34 lbs. This is the lightest ebike I've owned and the difference is significant. The 750W motor in the rear hub feels very powerful in hills especially with the lightweight frame. Acceleration is super fast.

Overall, this bike has exceeded my expectations in every possible way. If you’re thinking about getting one, do it! You won’t regret it. I can’t stop telling my friends about it.

I would steer clear of Teleport

I would steer clear of Teleport. They changed their return policy from 10 days to no refunds allowed last minute. What was promised was never delivered after waiting almost a year for it (11mo).

Package came completely mangled, rear rack was bent and there is damage on the frame in multiple spots.
Battery was supposed to be Panasonic, which it's NOT.
Fast charger was supposed to be included, and this is NOT a fast charger (2.8V)
Drive was supposed to be 750W, which is completely FALSE. This is 250W.
Premium Italian Leather for the upgraded seats, which is FALSE. This is faux/hybrid and not real leather.
Premium Italian leather for the handlebar grips, again FALSE. Faux/hybrid as well.
Gates Premium Drive Belt was supposed to be included, again FALSE. This is a cheap Dayco drive belt.
Integrated lights I paid extra for. Again, this is FALSE as they are completely unattached and had to be installed and don't even fit well.
"Puncture Proof" tires were supposed to be included, again this is absolutely FALSE. They are not puncture proof.
It was mentioned this was supposed to be waterproof, and the IP rating it came with is not rated for full waterproof at all.

Super Satisfied with my Teleport

Ordered the bike in green with bullhorn bars. I was a bit skeptical at first, as this is a startup and it was their first batch, but the offer was too good to resist. The bike finally arrived this August, and it was definitely worth the wait. The bike has exceeded my expectations in every way, and I’m very happy with it.

Pros:

Super attractive design. It’s a real stunner! I’ve never seen an e-bike this attractive.

Cool tech. The regenerative braking is a fantastic feature that my other bikes don’t have. It charges a portion of the battery as I ride, just like the tech in my Tesla.

Lightweight. At just 34 lbs, I love how light this bike is. My other e-bikes weigh at least 25 lbs more, so this was a big selling point for me and what caught my attention.

Very powerful motor. I rode the bike in a very hilly area, and the bike handles hills like a champ. Acceleration feels fast—probably due to the lightweight design, which makes the bike feel even more powerful.

Quality components. The brakes and frame are top-notch. The bike just oozes quality.
Great value. I got a ‘VIP’ deal from them, so I paid just over 2k with shipping. For the specs and components, this is a steal.

Great size: I’m 5’6 and ordered size 1 which fits me perfectly.

Belt drive. This is my first e-bike with a belt drive instead of a chain drive, and I love it. The ride is much smoother, and no grease!

Cool color. I love that they offer vibrant colors and not only ‘boring’ colors —my green bike is definitely an eye-catcher.

Easy installation. I've installed other ebikes before and this was the easiest to install. Took me just 15 min.

Great support. They kept me updated with regular emails during production, and I appreciate their transparency. They always responded to my emails promptly.

Cons:

Long wait. I had to wait until the end of summer to receive mine, which they mentioned was due to supply chain disruptions. They send me a lock and lights for free due to this.

Overall, super happy with my green bike (I call it the Green Lantern), and I would definitely buy from them again. I don’t use my other bikes now that I have this in my lineup. It was everything they promised and more. I’m waiting for them to open Batch 2 so I can order a yellow one this time. Thanks Teleport!

It is an E-Bike - but don't believe the rest of the promises.

It is an E-Bike. A large number of the other items promised are not true.
I ordered 2 bikes one of each size offered. I received two bikes, the same size. Through many of the groups on Facebook. I've since found out that there was only ever one size.
Advertising claimed a Panasonic battery. The batteries are not Panasonic.
Advertising claimed a Gates belt. It is not a Gates belt.
Advertising claimed 750 W motor. As best as we can figure it's somewhere between 250 W and 450 W. But definitely not 750.
I paid extra for a fast charger with one of the bikes and a regular charger with the other. I got two regular chargers. There's no such thing as a fast charger available according to all others on our Facebook pages.
If we were promised a 10-day return policy. They canceled the policy after everybody purchased.
It was supposed to be Italian leather seats and hand grips. Both are very cheap. Low quality plastic.
We were supposed to be able to change it from miles to kilometers on the display. I'm in Canada and unfortunately it's only in miles and not able to change.
Other claims from their advertising

"The Best Electric Bike Ever Made."
"Proudly Canadian! "
I don't believe any of the last three claims are correct either. Although they are listed in Edmonton, it's a shared office. And there's no sign of anyone anywhere that is in Canada.
Very disappointed. It's not safe for my wife to ride hers as it's the same size as mine. So the purpose of the bikes for both of us to have to ride together hasn't worked out and Teleport is not responding to any of this.
Don't buy one of these. It's a cheap Chinese made bike that you can look up on Alibaba. Spend your money elsewhere.
