I asked twice to be updated after being…

I asked twice to be updated after being informed extra work was needed following a service. Long story short I had to call them at the ends of day 2 and day 3 to get updates. And the problem has still not been fixed. Simple texts or short phone calls would have made all the difference. Ps also had to inform them that two of their phone numbers on their own website weren't correct.

Recent purchase

I recently purchased a vehicle from tates and the customer service I received from James was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Great contact throughout, I came across a discrepancy on a car check that I had done and emailing James straight away about the issue I got a rapid response from him and the matter was resolved quickly and I was made to feel at ease.
I would definitely recommend tates!
Very happy with the purchase.

Dan is a professional sales person

Dan was very patient, he listened to what I required, he did not try and talk me into having something I did not want, it was my choice.
Dan is what I call a proper sale person, not pushy, a good listener, patient, ensured I was happy with my decision about which car I wished to buy, any questions were answer in easy terms for me to understand. Well done do not change how you deal with your car buyers

Always a pleasure

We attened the vip event back in June. Calvin was amazing every step of the way from showing us round the cars, ordering and collection/handover. Calvin kept us upto date with the build and when to expected the delivery of our new car which was much earlier than expected.

We have been customers of Tates Kia in Pyecombe for several years now and have always found the staff there very Welcoming, informative, friendly and honest.

Fault rectified promptly on nearly new car.

Calvin was really good to deal with on the sales side, not too pushy and very pleasant. But the star of the show was Rob in Service when I had to take the car back after 2 days as it was making a strange (but hard to hear) noise. Rob got a Technician to look at it immediately to identify the offending part, then placed a priority order for a replacement and got it fitted 3 working days later. As a Kia Approved Used vehicle the fault should have been identified by Kia, not Tates. Anyway, prompt action by Rob saved the day!

This is our third car from Kia now and…

This is our third car from Kia now and we’ve always dealt with Calvin at Tates of Pyecombe and he’s really helpful, courteous and a pleasure to deal with when choosing our new cars. We always feel he’s got our best interests at heart and he makes it a smooth painless process for us.

Buying and documentation experience

The actual buying process was good, but one thing lets it down was the after sale documentation side. We had to chase them up several times to get the warranty documentation send to us, it took nearly two months to receive the paperwork. Also the sale manager did not return our calls as requested to discuss the problem, instead we got his minion taking his call which was not reassuring.

Excellent customer service provided by Mr Harry, at Tates Hyundai, Brighton

Received excellent customer service from Mr Harry, at Tates Hyundai, Brighton, while purchasing hyundai ioniq 5 premium.

As i travelled from London to Brighton to collect the car, Mr Harry also made sure the car was fully charged. Many thanks to Mr Harry!

Louis was pleasant enough ,when I could…

Louis was pleasant enough ,when I could contact him!
However I had to ring around the other branches to ask other salesman at their other car yards for him to contact me
Also didn’t really chase up the service history ,as Irequested in the end I did it myself but it was easy enough just asked a vw commercial centre for it ,its online
The plus point was the suggestion of including RAC mechanical cover included in the price instead of the Tates in house warranty as I travelled down to Brighton from Yorkshire
Also he did pick me up from the train station ,so on balance not too bad
In comparison to a BMW which I bought at the same time they delivered the vehicle from London for nothing,full tank of fuel ,logged my warranty for me ,replaced a back up key for nothing ,rang me to ensure I was completely happy ,even knocked an additional £500 off without me asking ….that is a 5 star service
