Daughter has cancer

Daughter has cancer. Communicated this when registering for a getaway between treatments with vacation rental in advance. Got an official letter from the hospital about being admitted to emergency room. Requested an extra form which pushed toward HIPPA violation. I am sorry your company has no trust but end of day insurance was honored

As with any insurance claim, in order to adjudicate a claim in accordance with the terms of the policy, whether to approve or deny, our examiners require complete documentation supporting such claim. An Attending Physician Statement was necessary in this instance to properly evaluate your claim. This form contains relevant information such as dates of treatment and physician recommendations that we needed to adjudicate your claim.

Full refund on reservation received

I was very pleased with Red Sky Travelers Indurance. zWe had to cancel a trip due to a health emergency. We completed the required forms and received full payment within 30 days.

Communication was terrible

Communication was terrible! I had to call to get updates, when I called the service was very good but each time I called I was told a different timeframe, it kept getting extended. I do understand the timeframe was a little long due to a hurricane, however, it would have been nice to receive some type of communication from Red Sky. I did email several times but to this day no one has responded.
After 5 weeks we finally received our money.
I filed the claim on 7/11/24 and finally received our money on 8/19/24. Also we selected electronic payment and did not received the correct email for us to request the electronic transfer. I did have to call again and received the correct email 6 days later.

helpful service

Yes, I thought I'd get the run around and have a problem with payment after my trip delay but I was able to speak with a real person each time I called, the wait was not too long on hold, and the rep was very helpful. they were knowledgeable and I actually got my check in a timely fashion. I will feel more comfortable in the future purchasing your product.

Full Refund with Minimal Hassle

We got a full refund for a weather-cancelled trip. The claim process was easy. The only downside was getting a paper check in the mail when I had requested an electronic deposit and having to wait several weeks for what seemed like a straight forward and simple claim.
I will certainly use them again for future trips that might be at risk (vacations during hurricane season).

I was not a routine purchaser of trip…

I was not a routine purchaser of trip insurance. Despite many years of many trips I just opted to “take the hit” if something went wrong. This scheduled vacation to the NC seashore made me hesitate because we were heading into a very unpredictable hurricane season. So I bought trip insurance..The trip had to be cancelled because I ended up in the hospital. Red Sky did a wonderful job of investigating and handling our claim. I’ll be buying trip insurance from them for any future trips,

Received payout in a short period of time.

The process was painless as the Vaca rental company had provided me the the website link and all the details I needed to successfully file my claim. Once I completed the online form and uploaded the information I was quickly contacted with the status and asked to have the medical personal complete a form in regards to my traveling partners condition to travel. Once I uploaded I received a response that my claim had been approved and a full refund should reach me in 7-10 days. They were true to their word.

Thankful

I am thankful my claim finally came through. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get the return, but I guess there are a lot of dishonest people out there who would try to scam a company like this. I sincerely appreciate your help in getting the return.

We had great a great experience with…

We had great a great experience with Red Sky Insurance. The template was easy to complete and upload needed documents. They sent updates at least weekly. Start to end time was 2 1/2 weeks when the claim check was sent out. Great experience.

I wish I could give negative stars...

I wish I could give negative stars...
I bought this travel insurance to cover a trip to take my terminally ill sister to the beach for what would probably be her last birthday ever.
I had to cancel the trip when the condo rental company let me know that the elevator wasn't working, because my sister is unable to walk up the stairs. I was very clear when I rented the condo that an elevator was a necessity.
Red Sky denied my initial claim AND the appeal citing that we knew about the illness in advance. We did know about the illness in advance, which is why I said we could ONLY rent a place with an elevator. Obviously Red Sky is a scam company that only takes your money has no intention of ever paying out. Don't use their services!

Very easy to file a claim. Promptly reviewed, approved and paid. We file our claim online. This was a very easy process and expedited much quicker than we expected. I highly recommend Arch Red Sky Insurance.

Multiple calls & emails for a simple…

Multiple calls & emails for a simple claim filing. Kept getting requests for more information without any feedback. Had to call information request person twice then no word from claims adjuster for weeks. Then adjuster mistakenly stated not eligible for insurance. If didn’t know better, experience is typical run around that give insurers a bad name. Almost as if insurer wanted any way possible to frustrate insured to avoid paying claim.

Canceled Trip Due to Medical Emergency

I needed to cancel our trip due to a medical emergency that is continuing. Arch Red Sky was very patient as I had to cater to my wife as I tried to process all the requisite paperwork to process the claim. Nichole was terrific and the online process was straightforward. Well done! I'll always take out travel insurance in the future ... you never know what's going to happen.

Terrible Claim Settlement Process! …

Had to make several calls and submit tons of information twice because they said they never received first set of required information even though representative verified claim. Sent registered mail 2nd time to make sure they received it. Kept switching who was the administrator for claim on each call which was several. Took way too long to settle 3 months. Would never use Red Sky if possible!
