Getting a refund was a mess
This whole thing should’ve been handled by a supervisor or someone who could research in-depth the entire issue that went on. I was given a coupon code to use towards an item that did not fit. I was given several different options for return. I chose the option that allowed me to keep the item that did not fit and re-purchase it again for a dollar with a coupon code.
I made the purchase and had another item in my cart. I realized upon placing the order that I accidentally kept the item in my cart. I didn’t want it. I was able to contact customer service to cancel that particular item. However, the mess came down when they only gave me half of my refund for the item that was canceled, the item that I accidentally ordered.
Since I was using a coupon code for $98.99 towards Jumpsuit for the exchange, that meant that the amount charged for the item wrongly ordered should’ve been returned to me in full. Customer service kept telling me that they would only refund half, $54, because the coupon code was split between the two items.
This was very unfair because I should’ve had full use of the coupon code that was given to me in the first place for the exchange. I explained that I had a whole email chain about my original refund. This should’ve been handled by a supervisor who could read into the whole mess. Had they done that, they would’ve seen that they owed me a full refund. Going back-and-forth with customer service was an absolute nightmare. They finally tried to make it right, By giving me another $98.99 coupon code. but by that time it was too late. They should’ve made it right in the very beginning. My full refund should’ve been given to me for the item that I accidentally put in my cart.
