Where do I begin? A year ago we started using TruGreen! I am a gardener and friends say I have a green thumb, but not true but I love my plants shrubs, I like to start all my hanging baskets from baby plants to watch them grow n flourish thru Summer in NC! I also have a couple pebble gardens that I go to our local nursery n buy a few plants that are reduced in price n need some tender love n care! I call this area my plant hospital, some live n some don't but with my favorite food(Miracle Grow) normally I can bring them back to life! I also cut my own shrubs into walls or different designs, just retired from being a Hairstylist for 28 yrs so I am very meticulous n I use that as my hair cutting fix but on shrubs! I do have a beautiful yard n one time out of each Summer for last 10 yrs I get yard of month! My friends come over to walk around n visit my flowers n see what's new n I appreciate all comments makes me feel like the work of it pays off! They say Wow I have never found or seen one weed in your flower beds People who, it's my therapy every morn with my coffee I am either watering or pulling weeds as soon as one pops up! On the other hand I have tried every product to keep weeds out of the Grass lawn! So my husband reached out to TruGreen to help me out on the weed problem in lawn cause I would pull weeds on lawn til I jus gave up so I put so much more time in flower beds hoping my lookers that drove by or stopped by did not focus on grass but distracted with my beautiful flowers, also I have flowers yr around when Summer flowers start dieing out in Fall I switch over with my Winter flowers n they r in hanging baskets n all beds cause flowers are beautiful n just make me happy! So I was very excited in TruGreen starting n helping with the frustration of the weed takeover! Well they began n in beginning I saw a few weeds dieing n grass turning green! But for almost a yr my yard has gotten worse n weeds were never killed n even though the guys that came to spray were very nice when I saw n could speak to them but chemicals jus did not work! Alwys a different man each time so when I did get to speak with them I had to tell the whole story about the frustration n I even pulled each of weeds n put in a bag n said can u please take these back n see what they can come up with to kill these weeds! Also in beginning they were suppose to do a soil sample to see if we needed a certain treatment or if we needed to add a certain soil n they did not n I would call everytime they came to ask about when will I get that n told lady on phone that they were suppose to do this first, also these ladies were always nice but they are someone who takes notes n sends over via email, I could never speak to someone who actually knows the chemicals n could give me answers! And there was different story each call, they would say weeds have to show before we can kill n then they would say we don't have a prevention product so they would have to keep coming back retreat n I would tell lady I spoke to that I hate they have to come back everytime n do free service cause it's not working! Well that went on for months, and then all of a sudden my grass was completely killed n weeds were still there so August n no grass whatsoever except a few little spots of Bermuda grass n plenty of green weeds! Someone came out n said we are treating lawn for worms! Well I have a exterminator that comes once a month for home n they treat yard including flower beds for worms slugs etc n he has been coming to great place for like 7 yrs n then TruGreen blames killing of entire lawn of grass leaving behind all weeds that I had hired them to treat n kill! I had been pulling up weeds all Summer long n I would see if there were tiny worms or anything else, remember I am meticulous n somewhat ocd so I would see any kind of pest! So I asked them well can u throw some sort of grass seed to lawn because it's Summer n all I have are weeds! I said well show me worms n they couldn't but they knew that's what killed grass well if there were worms TruGreen was still treating weeds but they were not dieing so I think they jus treated with some chemical that was wrong moisture that killed grass n these people had put on my lawn n could've killed me my animals my neighbors kids etc! So bottom line cause this in lengthy n I'm sorry cause I hate writing bad reviews but I had to! No one has come by to speak with me about this that is a Manager or foreman etc n also u can't speak to one either n it was put in notes supposedly each time I called n spoke to a lady! So I just hope this might help other customers n also ai have contacted my attorney n also I live about 10 mins from NC state to see if they have heard of any of this n what it could be because they have an amazing Ag program n they are coming to test everything in yard to send to attorney n as much as I hate to do this a lawsuit, and all TruGreen had to do was to be honest n not lie to me every phone call!

Quality service, Plus I had a problem created by the company that I had before Leaf. Customer service, customer technician listened to my feedback and took the time to offer a variety of solutions even though they technically didn't have to do. High marks to both the installer and customer technician from Leaf to solve my problem

This did not happen in the past 12 months because the realization of how I really got taken by leaf filter started after that time when the product had been installed for a while and because I still see the leaf filter ads. This is simply to give people my experience with them. Hopefully they will do a lot of research before going with them. About 4years ago i purchased the Leaf Filter gutter system. I distinctly remember all their advertising about never having to go on a ladder again to clean my gutters. What about all the pine needles and other debris that are stuck between the leaf filter system and my roof? Now I am not in a hurry to reach out to them regarding this issue because of how I was treated when a storm knocked down two trees destroying part of the leaf filter system and the gutter itself. This caused water to go straight into the garage and flow into my basement. Now that is not Leaf Filter’s fault of course and I was not looking for them to fix it for free. But I was looking for it to be repaired in a reasonable amount of time since we were continuing to receive rain. They showed their lack of concern and said the earliest they could be there was 10 days later. Guess what, they never showed up. No phone call, no nothing. They performed another NO SHOW after that. After several weeks they finally came and replaced the broken system. It cost me 4500 for the system on the whole house and another 2000 to do the repair of about 6’ of gutter. The major issue was with the Colchester, CT branch. They are terrible!!!! Secondly, the woman who sold this system to me said she would look into why this was happening. She followed up the conversation saying she couldn’t believe they would act like that, but would certainly look into it. There was no evidence that she did anything. She never got back to me. Finally, I called corporate. Guess what? Nothing positive from them either. I dropped it. Now I see that Leaf Filter is all about making the sale and not being at all responsive once you make the purchase. I regret buying this system because they don’t tell you that YOU WILL HAVE TO GET ON A LADDER to maintain that system. I should have spent the much cheaper price of having someone come clean my gutters for 200. I am an elderly individual and don’t want to climb ladders to clean my leaf filter system. That kind of defeats th purpose don’t you think. Shame on you!!!!!!!

Crooked company. Bought a side table that was broken on arrival and tooks 6 weeks to deliver in the first place. When contacted the call support pretends to put you on hold but is simply baiting for you to hang up (I know I waited 1 hour each twice). They said they sent replacements via express post but it’s been 4 weeks with nothing. Don’t bother. Crooks.

Service was prompt. With the exception of one small item that was damaged (and promptly replaced), packaging and shipping was good. Radiator installation instructions are minimal and could be improved. Otherwise, beautiful products and great service. I will be purchasing more radiators from HR as my project progresses.
