Absolutely the best tracker ever

Absolutely the best tracker we’ve ever used! Hardwired it to the Hazard Flashers so it wouldn’t be “accidentally disconnected” by our children, lol. Don’t hardwire to battery as batteries eventually need replacing and it could be detected by your children/mechanic etc. Accuracy was phenomenal and when our daughter was in an accident, we were immediately notified - minutes before she called us, and she called us before calling the police. Best, accurate tracker on the market. Sold the car recently and the tracker stayed installed at buyers request, for his almost 16 year old. Helped with lowering insurance costs too for young adults. Great customer service when we had a question on installation.

A Turo business owner’s best friend.

I’ve got four of these trackers. Two 3.0’s, and two 2.0’s. They are better at tracking my cars than the car manufacturers built in tracker. Their Earth Magnetic Cases are tough and they don’t drop off the cars. You get a great product for very little money. If you’re renting your cars thru the Turo Platform you definitely want these trackers.
PS. Customer Service is also great.

I always get a reply back within five…

I always get a reply back within five minutes or less, regardless if it’s a question or a problem.
I’ve used Optimus for a long time and never have had any issues. I like the fact that they also keep their equipment up to date with the latest technology.

Cheaper is not necessarily bad

I use two different tracking services, with optimus being one of them. The other is a much bigger and twice as expensive monthly plan.

Optimus has gotten it right. Their wrn interface and their app interface is much cleaner, user friendly, simple to use. The accuracy is superior to the other company I use. There is no lagging, and frequent disconnection like I have experienced with the other company.

I will be using optimus for all my tracking needs from now on. They are reasonably price, great customer support if you need it. I highly recommend them to any user on the fence and in need of such service.

Great devise

The setup was easy enough and the monthly cost was reasonable. Made it easy to keep track of my motorcycle wherever I was. I’ll be ordering another one after I get my next motorcycle.

Overall it is ok

Overall it is ok. But when using detailed history there are weird random stops that aren't really happening so I think it is a data collection issue. The issue is that is shows them as actual stops so it appears that the person is making several stops that they really aren't making. So, if you are bird-dogging your employees you may be making assumptions as to what they may be doing, but they may not be doing anything wrong. For us it is to create a time frame at a specific location, but it has not been helpful for that really. It is good to see if employees who take vehicles home are using them at all when not on company time. Also had a device problem with 1 unit and they sent a replacement, the replacement was refurbished even though the original was new. Whatever, it worked after a day or two. At first it was showing the vehicle in a completely different state. Customer Service has been responsive so I am happy with that.

Thank you for the feedback! I was able to look into the account and devices with the email provided, the tracking on the map looks great for both units! I went through the past couple of days for each and did not see any errant parked reports coming in, but it does seem like the vehicles in question may be used for a business and that may involve them going in and out of the vehicle quite often, this could be why the device is reporting movement, this does not mean the vehicle is moving itself but that the device on the vehicle has sensed some motion. A movement report on the map should always be followed by a parked report about two minutes after. This will cause the device to send in a new report, since the movement and parked reports are what are used for the detailed historical map, it will show a short "trip" and the device should reposition itself in the same general area as that is the way it is programmed to report!
