I had an account with OpenSkyCC.com with a small credit limit - every time I turned around, they were charging me extra fees - I disputed a charge and lost - the charge was returned to my account which was fine except I wasn't aware they had done this - within a very short time, they notified the credit bureaus I didn't make a payment and was overdue! I called Open Sky but they didn't seem to give a s___! I wasn't surprised! I rate them a 2 on a 1 - 5 scale!

I opened my OpenSky secured credit card about 3 years ago I started out with $200 and after about a year with no late payments they gave me another $100 so now its $300 not much but I ruined my credit as soon as I got my first 2 credit cards when I was 18 so needless to say I maxed them out and never paid them I didn't know how much credit was so important until I got alot older so after 7 years and they fell off I started again now im at a 780 whoop whoop go me its been a long journey but its possible! Thanks, OpenSky it would be nice if they would give me another increase!

A few years ago I was looking to buy a house but realized first that I needed to improve my credit scores. Credit Karma recommended a few different cards and I chose the OpenSky card because of the flexibility it provided in matching my situation. After making regular monthly payments on my charges I was quite pleased to see my credit scores start to rise.

I’ve had an OpenSky account for a few years now. My experience has been great. I’ve gotten an increase on my unsecured credit card and after successfully managing that for a while, I was offered a secured credit card with them. I don’t have any problems with my account or billing. Their customer service is awesome. I would highly recommend them on your journey to building credit!

I love the ease of payment,never had an issue using this card, and it has helped me build my credit up in just 2years it has improved greatly.Would recommend, just be in the know when the annual fee comes out, the only thing that would make it better is a month prior heads up on that, other than that it's all good.

I called to close my account, but was told it would impact my credit. So I decided to keep my account. At the same time the agent told me I could upgrade to the Gold card. He didn't tell me I would be opening a new account, a new card, and fees. I would NEVER have accepted that. I called to close one account and now I have two, with $100 in fees and two CCs to manage! Be wary of offers made over the phone!!!!

I was advised by financial counselors to apply to Open Sky to obtain a secured credit card to help me improve my credit score. I was given a line of credit of $200 initially. I’ve had the card for about six months, have paid my balance on a monthly basis, often paying more than the minimum due. Open Sky recently offered their Gold card with a line of credit of $800. I was able to raise my credit score to over 600 from my low of 400.

My request was handled very poorly, numerous times have called about the amount being charged late fees, kept telling me I did not make a payment, I did, but you took the money off the wrong account, as a result my credit score fell down by 32 points because open sky reported the late payment.So much for opening a credit card to improve my credit, bed service

I have had this card for awhile now, and the service is great. I had an issue awhile back with some charges that weren't mine. They handled quickly, they shutdown my card, reviewed the charges, seen that it wasn't me and sent a new card within 10 days. The only issue with that is, you lose all your credit build up and have to start over again with the new card.

OpenSky provided me the opportunity to rebuild my credit. After me showing consistency with my payments they have now offered me an unsecured card. I am happy to report that my credit score went from poor to good. Now I'm working toward excellent!

I have a great payment history with Opensky, never had a problem using my card anywhere. Opensky should automatically increase my credit limit to 5000.00 like the rest of my credit cards have done. Thank you so much for a hassle-free experience each time I use your card.

After my bankruptcy filing no credit card institution would offer me a credit card, be it secured or unsecured. OpenSky gave me the opportunity to build my credit once again and I am so delighted that I am an a path of doing just that. Thanks to open sky for not closing their doors on me.

I have not had any issues with this card servicing company. Pretty decent card overall to assist with building credit. Had my boyfriend open one to build his credit too. The only thing I do not like is that they don't really increase your credit line, they said you have to add your own additional money in order to increase it. However it may occur depending on how you handle the card seeing that my boyfriend's had his credit line increased two times and I've had my card longer than him and have only had it increased once. Also an unsecured card option would have been nice.

Update: just received an email with an offer for an unsecured card so I may have to inquire.

OpenSky credit card is very helpful for rebuilding credit, while being able to buy the things you like. They are a reasonable when it comes to charging interest and are more in tune with helping their customers succeed financially.

I have had this credit card for 4 years now. I ha r never had a bad experience with them. I started off with a secured deposit credit limit. Now my credit limit has been raised to almost doubled. This card has really helped my credit score. Just keep the balance to less than 30% and make sure to make the payments on time. I signed up for the auto draft for the minimum payment that way if I ever forget a payment is still made.

I have only had to call customer service one since I had the opensky card. The experience was great, I was trying to confirm and email I received and the agent was very helpful, she was able to answer all my questions, and give me a more information that I had not through to asked about. I have enjoyed have my open sky card and look forward to my Gold card.

I’ve been with OpenSky since 2018. I haven’t had to call them much over the years but whenever I do I receive satisfactory customer care. Their agents are pretty knowledgeable about their products. Great starter card company.

Well, I like the fact that when I have a concerned the customer service are very helpful. When I travel out of the country OpenSky is available to resolve issues. I like the way I was able to build my credit and save money. Although, I would like to be able to get rewards with my OpenSky card, and other perks on travel, like clear and TSA. I would like to move into a regular credit OpenSky card, and transfer the longevity of years from this card into a new unsecured card. I’ve been a customer for several year’s now and I would like to continue with the OpenSky services. Thank you for all your support and help. Very much appreciated.

Rebuilding my credit became my number one priority and joining Opensky was the perfect place for me to get it done. It didn't take long and as they say "funny how time fly when you're having fun" shopping while you fix your credit is brilliant idea . I simply love process. I even had my son to join to teach him the importance of good credit and how it can truly be financial freedom when it's done correctly. So not only is it a good tool to correct your credit but a great place to start building and learning the importance of created. Thank Opensky. Im willing to do a truth testimony infomercial as well. Secured credit cards are for a reason...to improve your credit. However, the only way to get your deposit back is to close the card..which negatively impacts your credit. Held deposit for years and an annual fee. Stupid choice I made.
