Richie Cruz was very helpful through the process of securing the refy for my wife and I. This allowed us to use our equity to pay off all but one debt. The signing of legal documents was accomplished quickly at our home by a notary. All in all it was a good experience for us. The only drawback was the hundreds of calls we had to endure for a week or two.

My husband and I are happy to give details about our experience with NEW DAY USA VA.! We did a refinance on our condo. We had a VA LOAN THROUGH OUR BANK SINCE 2019. We started our journey with Phillip Liberman and so glad we did. I am a retired CPA and I keep pretty good records. Everything Phil needed I made sure I got it right away. He always got back to me with any questions or concerns I had. It was easier than it would have been dealing with a local company. He worked on getting information for me and the disbursement team. We closed and it was a holiday weekend which changed things a little but everything came together as he said it would the Tuesday after Labor Day. We would recommend NEW DAY USA VA. I had a great experience with Dylan at New Day. He explained every step of the process thoroughly and always took time to answer my questions. He provided options for a program I should be eligible for in the future that will lower my interest rate. I feel the process went very smoothly. Mr. Nigel Strickland of NewDay USA was with us through the whole process of refinancing our home. He called 2-3 times a week as well as emailing us and always portrayed a positive attitude.
The only surprise in the whole process was the lender cut checks for our debts and sent them to us overnight for us to mail out. I can understand why but the lender in past refi's had always taken care of paying the bills off at closing.
By us mailing the checks and waiting for them to "post" - left us with a "residual" balance on the accounts.
All in all a good experience. Would recommend NewDay USA.

This VA lender is absolutely horrible! I had a Heart attack with emergency surgery. After I was released from the hospital, I called and requested assistance/forbearance in my payment. They said I need to complete the package which I did. They then deleted the application, and I had to resubmit it. Once they approved the second submittal, they sold my loan to another mortgage company who began demanding payment. They claim to care about veterans by they don’t. They gaslight customers and just want you to refinance and pull the cash out not for you but for them to line their pockets with the interest. Avoid NEW DAY USA at all costs.
Still No call!! The Admiral is a disgrace to our veterans and Naval Service. What a nasty vile company. Avoid this predator at all costs. Updated 9/11/24.
