We've been thoroughly impressed with the quality of stones and mounted jewelry my wife and I have purchased from Moriarty's Gem Art. From the loose "Barbie Pink" sapphire I purchased and had fitted into a solitaire pendant, the eye-catching yellow Chrysoberyl ring, the heart shaped Tanzanite ring with diamond accents, the deep blue and immersive tanzanite ear rings, and her newest gift of the blue Zircon pear shaped stones Steve mounted into studs for us. Every piece we have purchased has been nothing short of exquisite.

Moraritys has outstanding gems and a staff that are helpful in every way possible. They will even hunt for stones from a specific area of the world or size that you need for your design. They manufacture jewelry that you are proud to own and pass to future generations.

I purchased two 18k gold necklaces in the estate sale. One acid tested 18k with no doubt and one is definitely at least 14k and possibly 18k but the 18k acid kind of ate the scratch mark away on the one but not completely, the other had plenty of gold particles floating in the droplet. All in all I’ve chosen not to make another scratch for further testing as not to damage the surface too much and trust in the sellers experience and reputation. I don’t believe they would sell anything under false pretense. Both items arrived quickly and I am super happy with the deal I received.

They listen to what you want. They offer suggestions once they know what you're trying to accomplish. I wanted a pair of earrings made for my wife. It's hard to describe an image to someone over the phone. I worked with Alice and between phone calls and pictures sent via email she was able to fulfill what I was trying to accomplish. She was patient and I never felt rushed into making a decision. She spent the time necessary to complete the task.

This was my second purchase from the Moriarty family. Both times I purchased individual stones (Tanzanite and Blue Zircon) and worked with Alice to design custom rings. The stones themselves are fantastic quality and Alice's patience with my design ideas and questions was wonderful. Both rings are stunning. If you are hesitant to buy online, please think of giving Moregems a try. They have a monthly gem show on YouTube that gives you some great insight into the different stones, how they are mined and cut - very informative. Already looking for my next purchase. ;-)

I echo JW's "rave review" of Moriarty's Gem Art. I also had a tanzanite and diamond ring made. The top-notch quality/beauty, outstanding customer service, and reasonable price are commendable. The whole process was actually enjoyable. Little "extras" were provided like overnight mail delivery, quick response to my questions, lots of pictures of what to expect, and pleasant people to deal with. Their website is a "fun" place to visit and dream, and their "specials" are fantastic--and sooooooo tempting. Keep up the superb work folks, and many thanks.

I hit the jackpot when I found this Website. I received my pink Mehenge garnet today from Moriarty Gem Art store in Crown Point, Indiana. It is a beauty exactly as shown on the website. The prices are very reasonable. Customer service was great. My purchase came in 2 days. You can watch them on u tube once a month with there new gems for sale. You can’t go wrong with this company.

This was my first visit at Moriarty”s Gem Art store. Actually, it was my first time purchasing a custom-made ring. Alice Was very helpful with the diamond selection. She showed me and explained the different shapes and qualities of the diamonds. Then the whole process of setting the diamonds within the ring, and the ring shape was another experience for me that I thought was wonderful because I was allowed to express the design of how I wanted it. In the end, the ring was so stunning to me that it brought me to tears. I recommend Moriarty gem art store to anyone who wants a good quality service and jewelry.
