It's 100% a SCAM

It's 100% a SCAM! Beware of this bank and anyone trying to "transfer" funds to you for payment for your services. When a "new client" (aka a scammer) tried to pay me for a custom art piece they wanted commissioned, he sent funds via Kudask. The bank proceeded to tell me I had to pay a $1,500 currency exchange rate fee via PayPal to have the funds release (what bank processes payment via PayPal??). When I refused, they said they couldn't cancel the initiated "transfer" and that I owed this person $10,300 or I need to pay the fee. It's without a doubt a SCAM. I filed a police report and had to open a new bank account just in case.

All these are fake reviews from competitor banks. Trustpilot always deletes the good reviews and leaves only the bad ones.

Here is proof: search for PayPal, Bank of America, Amazon, Facebook, Stripe, or any other popular company on Trustpilot. You will only see bad reviews about these companies.

Please, if you are reading this, do not trust any reviews you see on this page.

I had to pay 750 US$ to get the transfer of 7500 US$. After having paid that amount I was asked to pay another 350 US$. Which I didn´t do, then the Kudask Bank posted BANNED ACCOUNT and I could not get access to my account. Simultaneously, the buyer posted text indicating that he was in on the scam, and vanished, that is, no longer possible to contact. That is to me, my bank at home, the banking authorities and the Police a total SCAM!

Art scammers using Kudask bank to run…

Art scammers using Kudask bank to run off with your money.

I am a professional artist under the brand @spiraliens, so no, am definitely not a competitor bank as Kudask implies.

(Please also note ‘Kudask’ bank’s unprofessional replies in bad English on the few reviews with same experience). (Update. They saw this above note and corrected their language.)
Update. A fellow artist reached out to me and said my review saved her - this is her message to me.

“Hi , I just saw your post on Trust pilot as I was checking Kudask. Guess what
A client called Sandra Lamprecht just gave me the exact same story (Bahamas, empty walls with a kid, a contact only via Signal (I asked to zoom she said she doesn’t speak English … ) After many emails and transport budgeting
She wants to pay via Kudask only …
And now Kudask ask me to pay 591€ exchange fee to get the money … this is when I google and find your post …
So definitely a scam. The same story with a slightly different name.”

My experience
A so called client, Sandra Beliba from the Bahamas (red flag) wanted to buy 9 artworks for 16.000 USD (red flag). She sends pictures of inside a house with empty walls, (this is a first for me and ‘seems’ pretty legitimate), so I decide to continue the conversation, until after many, many emails later, she will ONLY (red flag 🚩) make a bank transfer via Kudask bank. Even though she had the option to pay 1) via my website 2) PayPal directly or 3) bank transfer to my bank. She wouldn’t give me any personal information, phone no, and provided a DHL express service point address in Nassau for her shipping address. (All red flag 🚩 ). Needless to say, there was no way I was going to get scammed by ‘her’ or Kudask, who want me to pay a substantial fee via PayPal to be able to receive the transfer. (Red Red flags 🚩 🚩) Artists! Be careful out there. On Instagram search the tag #artscam and you will find this particular scam, and many more.
