I am glad the app is available for my kids on this ages since now all will be more technology on which my kids use cellphones but managed with parental control. But this aloud us parents to control and give allowance when they do good. I love the idea thank you so much.

This app makes financial learning fun for kids and adults! It is super user friendly and the customer service is the best I've ever experienced. They answered my phone call within minutes and were incredibly helpful!

I'd give zero stars if I could. I have been waiting 2 months for my son's card. It still has not arrived. So I called today and they just don't care. I can't change the address to see if it will get delivered there instead, but no I have to go thru a hole 2 day process just for the address to be changed and then another 7 to 10 days just to see if it even arrives. My son has money on this card and has not been able to use it all for 2 months. So I canceled and of course I still won't get his money that has on there for another 7 tp 10 business days. This is just ridiculous.

I am sorry to hear that you have been waiting for the card and haven't yet received it. I understand how this may have been inconvenient for you and your child, and we at GoHenry apologize for any frustration caused by this.
As a financial service provider, we are required under the U.S. Patriot Act to ensure that we 'know our customer' and we use an online identification and address verification service to comply with this requirement. We are unable to change the address for any new accounts without documentation and verification.
Currently, we are unable to expedite card delivery but we will pass this feedback on to see if this is something we can introduce in future.
I have been able to locate your account and can see that we attempted to call you but were unable to reach you. We would like the opportunity to discuss the issue raised if you can respond to the email with a more suitable time to contact you between 9 am and 5 pm EST.
They are crooks don't use them I put money on my kids cards and one my son's he had $93.82 and the next morning all the money was gone. And they had done the same thing to my daughter they took $23 something off her card and never was refunded. I guess times is to hard so they have to take it from your kids account oh and also if you have more then one banking account watch because if you use one card to add money to the account and the next time you use another card they will bill both accounts for the monthly subscriptions. Just don't trust them. I am closing my account with them asap. Just seeing if they are going to put the money back if not I am continuing to file a complaint and putting it on social media.

GoHenry is helping me daughter learn to value of money and to save for the things she rally wants. She is becoming very frugal and deciding if what she wants is worth the price. GoHenery also gives parents a lot of control of how much they can spend and where they can spend, meaning parents have to give permission for the child to shop on the internet.

My nephew is growing his piggy bank and spending as he pleases, even though there was one hiccup when he tried to buy something and there wasn’t quite enough loaded onto his debit (only a few cents off, he was on a field trip and forgot that he had cash too, obviously not the app’s fault)!
The app alerted me about the “hiccup” and I adjusted his monthly payment accordingly. It’s been extremely exciting and useful. Thank you so much!

It's a great use of technology. It has motivated our kids to do chores around the house, learn about finances (which our public school system doesn't even touch until Junior year of high school), helps the kids learn responsibility, and the debit card is a convenient way to enable our kids to have money when they need it.

My granddaughters were able to use their card when we were on vacation at “ Six Flag Park Over Texas in Arlington Texas between Dallas Tx & Forth Worth Texas. We use it for Uber Returns Trip Back Home to ride the train & bus and snack on June 22, 2024 back to Baytown Tx

The app and concept are awesome. You can become the “bank” of sorts and monitor the child’s account and what they’re doing with it. Apple Pay is amazing as well, but this program allows parents to set savings interest rates and allows goals to be assigned. Really a great tool toward adolescent financial management efforts. I thought I’d try the trial and quit, because all I thought it would be was a debit card for the kid, but it’s this awesome program which does cost, but it’s totally worth 5 bucks a month (what they currently charge me).
Try the trial, bet you pay for the service after it’s up.

My daughter's first day of school with her card, tried using it at a vending machine and the school registers. But for whatever reason it kept declining. There's money on her card and it's not locked. Trying to figure out what the problem maybe before cancelling, I do not like the idea that she wouldn't be able to eat, because their school is card or apple pay. It's this doesn't work, I think I'll have to do apple pay. I wanted her to get used to using a card feeling more responsibility for herself in budgeting and saving money.

Simply grea! Excellent way to teach kids frugality and savings early enough. User friendly app and my son loves the confidence of having control over his money with parental oversight. Finally, the card helped me the parent.

This has been an amazing tool. I got this for my son for a way to track his chores and see what he was earning his allowance for. The added benefit is other family member can easily transfer money to him for special occasions or just because.

Overall! No downside from this company. I have had it for 4+ years and I love it. The availability to transfer money from my bank account and into my son’s card is incredible fast. We had a few overcharges and it’s been taking care of it immediately with no hesitation contacting them. All transactions are detailed and easy to manage. Once again I love it..
