Programmed obsolescence I don't recommend the camera products

I bought a camera on 2021 for my cat for when I leave for couple of days. I used one week and then it was mostly stored. I tried to plug it again but the app doesn't permit me to add it again. The support help isn't coherent in what they suggest with just prepared steps they send for everyone no matter the issue.

Appalling customer care

Appalling customer care. I moved from Europe to the Caribbean. But apparently you cannot change phone numbers in your account where the camera is registered. As a desperate measure I deleted my account. That made things worse. Customer support requires proof of purchase for a camera i bought 8 years ago. Despite giving them photos of the camera, s/n, original box, my ID and using the email address I used to register, they refuse to help me and uncouple the old phone number. Bizarre!!

The information to cancell the…

The information to cancell the subscription is false, there is no subscription management tab. It also doesn’t show the payment information to be able to remove the payment method from the account. Is an absolute scam, do not give your payment details to this company

Had this camera a week now easy to install and relatively simple to set up.
Really impressed with the clarity of filming both day and night.
Haven't gone for the cloud option, happy for now with phone storage.
For a simple home solution I'm impressed.

What a horrible company ive had the…

What a horrible company ive had the displeasure of dealing with. I have 3-4 of their wifi cameras, have recently changed my internet provider so these need to be re-configured. When setting up again they want a verification code for each of these cameras which were printed on a sticker that was on the camera. Ive had these cams a couple of years and obviously they have been outside in the elements so the stickers are now faded (dumb idea in the first place, their deisgn team needs sacking) now they want me to get on ladders take pictures of all the stickers that are faded and email them. Oh well looks like im updating my cameras, about time anyway these were rubbish quality.

DISGRACEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone .our cameras €500 and not a year old have to be replaced by another company ,they worked properly for a max of a month ,there is no support when something goes wrong if you can't fix it yourself, I was told go on a ladder and record myself trying to fix the camers ,send them the video and they will tell me if I was doing it right..when we bought we were not told we had to pay €50 per camera for cloud ,they stopped working after 2 weeks until we paid the €150 ..oh and you have to call the UK for support no office in Ireland ..steer clear folks that's my advice .

The worse camera in history

The worse camera in history, can only connect to Wifi for 10 min then the connection drops, I'm sick and tired of resetting and re-connecting. The red light is on permenantly and this thing can only record when it is connected to WiFi, otherwise no recording. What a joke! A HIGHLY unreliable device, DO NOT BUY or BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Several cameras, mostly useless

Several cameras, indoor and outdoor. Indoor cams ok, but far too sensitive. Loves mice and insects. Outdoor cameras shockingly bad software. Disconnect constantly. Of six outdoor cameras, one camera won’t charge. Another won’t turn on. The reset button on all normally not work, which makes the reconnect even harder to perform. Two cameras the white illumination lights won’t turn off, making battery life futile. Bite your tongue when you need to recharge the batteries, as they’ll all disconnect and need to be reset……
I don’t have the time to constantly sort these. €1000 in the bin !

The worst security cameras ever.

The worst security cameras ever.

I bought 2 cams from them, these cams never record a full video & the most of the recorded videos are corrupted so you can't view any full recorded video only part of it the first few seconds. Using these cams are useless for security.

Do not Buy.

I purchased a LC1 out door camera/ security lights, via Amazon.
Easy to install but that was about it! Their App would only load on my phone up to 90% so couldn't set the system up. Their technical support gave me all sorts of technical advice which none of it made sense, they expect you you to be a technical wiz, which I'm not!
I spent days emailing and getting all this technical advice which in their description the set up should have been easy - It's Not.
I got so frustrated I decide to return it to Amazon for a refund- Not a great product. Do not buy!

Ezviz never again purchased cc camera…

Ezviz never again purchased cc camera not cheap wanted good reliable one..set it up good quality 5 months good then had problem trying to sort it.i put wrong password in ....I think..tried to log in ...said add device ..well it's been added 5 months ?? Can't get to log in..no way to re.set password ..??? why not .it ok on UK models...contacted customer services a very nice guy Norman tried to help no good said get back to me ..week later I called he said I will refer it to tec support ..no reply from them..called Norman said I will contact them 3 weeks gone bye...tec support email..wanted photo proof of purchase. Receipt... Photo proof of serial no. Photo proof of QR code on box ..date I installed camera..photo proof of problem..and two more..never in my life have I been asked to resort to finding this..how many keep the box or receipt... It's disgusting ..so in the law.. it's not fit for purpose..and also not as described..I asked for my money back..no...go back to Amazon..tec support ha...they support their company pocket..I asked for their company details in UK... No reply...I asked for their company HQ details in china or province..no reply..my daughter sorted all their requests and sent them...no reply yet ??? Tec dept no good not any help or trying to solve a simple problem..shame as camera ok.. so looks like cheap ones on tik tok a good buy...they offer money back..and very helpful..sad

Products are not at market level...

"Smart" Doorbell not working after a few weeks.
Error in writing video files. Replaced SD card twice, nope. The app is s**t. No or late notifications, not responsive. Throwing away the doorbell for a serious one.

EDIT
I was able to slightly improve the doorbell by using an high quality SD card. Some update finally fixed the notification issue, so I am now giving 2 start. Still, the product needs to improve to reach the general public.

Do not purchase HB8 cameras

Bought a HB8 camera but omit has been very disappointing. It doesn't get triggered quickly enough, the movement tracking is too slow, and the biggest issue is that disarming the cameras do not turn off the sound alarm; it needs to be done manually every single time through the settings. To top it all off, the team of customer support agents do not seem to know this level fo detail and just end up wasting customers' time. I do not recommend Ezviz cameras.

Always off line

Always off line, a.l.w.a.y.s…! Doesn’t matter what model. Maybe a really poor low powered antenna?
Spend more money and get better cameras. The quality is ok, easy to use. If you can hardwire Ethernet then ok but WiFi, they always go offline and then you have to unplug and plug in or reset and reconnect. I’m replacing all 4 of mine with something better.

The cameras I have do really well one I…

The cameras I have do really well one I have outdoors is color and has good night vision 1080 however the audio doesn't sound right when a car goes by it makes weird noises sometimes squeals or when a train is heard it sounds like it's in a tunnel not good. Not sure I have heard of this complaint?

Perfect Video/Audio for the low price …

Perfect Video/Audio for the low price of these camaras. I don't like that there is no webinterface or better API to control the functions, but you can't get everything and paying that low price :).

Support isn't the fastet, but they help... even when it's your fault and the ticket is getting longer and longer. That's the reason for 4 starts...

@ezviz: make your cameras better for professional usage (manual IP Settings, controlable with simple HTTP requests (like the alarm siren) and i will definitly change it to 5 stars....

Indoor camera not replaying videos.

I got the indoor camera, overall its quite good, only 2 things i dont like: 1 is that it gives alot of false alarms. 2 is that when you receive a notification of movement, it NEVER lets me replay the video! So god forbid i actually get robbed, and not be able to show the police the footage to catch them!

2nd camera will not charge

2nd camera I've purchased both stopped charging around a year after buying. Battery lasts around a month when it charged. One camera keeps disconnecting from WiFi despite being around 15ft away. Customer service to not respond.

Emailed them 6 times in a week for…

Emailed them 6 times in a week for technical support. Cameras wouldn't hook up to modem. They never called or showed no interest in helping me with my issue. Then finally Fernando emailed me asking me if he can call me at 10 am that day which was a Friday, I said yes. Nope never called. So I sent 3 more emails asking for him to please call. No reply until Tuesday at 5 am. He said he was having difficulties reaching me on my phone. BS he never called or even tired to. Or he never emailed either in them 5 days.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!
THEY'RE LAZY AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER!
