I absolutely LOVE the EBike

I absolutely LOVE the EBike! Definitely makes riding more pleasurable! I don't worry about the wind or the hills.
I have done several lengthy rides, 70 miles, 50 miles, and 45 miles and my battery is a bit of a disappointment. I read about the battery life of a 400 watt and now it makes sense how long it should last on these rides.
I have been searching for a higher watt battery and am unable to find a compatible replacement at a higher watt. I have also contacted Gazelle concerning this matter and would like some information or a price on a higher watt battery or something I can upgrade. I want to ride longer distances, of course, but need a longer battery life.
PLEASE, any information would be helpful.
I also did not have a shock absorber seat post and i noticed on the other Gazelle bikes online that the seat post was standard with the bike. It would have been exceptionally awesome to have had that in place. I feel when paying over 2000$ there should be easier access to batteries, accessories, replacement parts, seats, seat posts, and other bicycle parts for this particular EBike.
The cost of bags and bicycle racks is extremely expensive and not everyone can afford those prices so we have to improvise.
I would absolutely love information on some solutions!

Please confirm my warranty registration

Yes, I’m an owner and have been for awhile now so I’m surprised that this wasn’t recognized by the wording in your email. Did you not receive my registration for warranty purposes?

Great Bike !

Hi,

I have recently been experiencing mobility problems and have always been an active hill walker.

I decided on buying an e-bike as I reasoned that some exercise was better than no exercise.

I opted for the Gazelle Ultimate C5 high step.

This has been an absolute game changer, after having minor heart surgery and still waiting for a leg operation Incan easily manage 30 miles on my new bike.

It is a very well built bike , sturdy comfortable and in Anthracite grey turns many heads when out and about.

I love the bike so much that my wife and I bought another so that she can come along with me on my travels.

Bike display went blank after my first…

Bike display went blank after my first ride and nobody has been able to fix it. Their dealer network is clueless. It's been in the shop for weeks.

My husband and I both purchased the…

My husband and I both purchased the step through models. Very happy with the performance of the bike. However disappointed with the Bosch Smart System. Had trouble with both of them turning on. The store owners are working with us. We thought Bosch would have been the best choice. Also my miles don’t always reset. We purchased them in April and have almost 1,000 miles on them.

I have nearly 500 miles on my Ultimate…

I have nearly 500 miles on my Ultimate C8 HMB. Riding this bike is like being on a vehicle and not like being on my nimble and light hybrid. A very different riding experience, but at 76 this is the bike for my future. It takes a few hundred miles to get used to riding this bike, but it is very enjoyable to ride.

My only complaint is the location of the braze-ons to attach the bottle cage. I bought a step through to make it easy to get on and off the bike, but with the bottle cage near the bottom of the frame, it defeated the purpose of a step through. I took the bottle cage off and bought a cage to attach to my handlebar.

we bought 2 gazelle e bikes ultimate10…

we bought 2 gazelle e bikes ultimate10 and are disapointed with the service we had,
AT first we had bought a ultimate and a medeo. wich was exchanged later on for another ultimate

The main complaint is about the suspension- it is very noisy, no help from the store they say it is normal...

Then 1 bike had a bell the other no after asking they oblidge
no mention about what is needed to inflate the tires, had to go back and buy the adaptor

wrong size of bike then seat not adjusted properly and told it needed to be sawn but when got back at the store they said another story and adjusted it.

we do not want to go back to that store for service and we would like to resolve the problem of the suspension which does not sound like a quality bike at all

Bike is terrific, delivery condition, so-so

Bike is terrific, just to in perfect shape upon delivery:
1. There's a squeak, 2. Missing a reflector, 3. Missing handle for battery, 4. Very hard to move gear handle, and, 5. Seat not adjusted properly.

We both purchased Gazelle e-bikes and…

We both purchased Gazelle e-bikes and we love them. The dealer adjusted them for us and answered all of our questions. We have mainly ridden on rail trails and we are surprised by how far we can ride on the Eco setting.

The bike works great

The bike works great, about 60 miles on the battery. and it is lite. I once peddled about 5 miles before I realized the battery was not engaged, The only problem I had was trying to register the serial number. It would not go into their system. I emailed them twice and they never did get back to me. For that reason they are not getting 5 star.

I’ve had my Medeo for 18 months and am…

I’ve had my Medeo for 18 months and am enjoying every ride I take with it. I recommended Gazelle to a friend and after doing his research bought one as well. I enjoy the pedal assist as you do get a workout every time your exploring the trails and roads around you. The gears change smoothly and you have great vision being a little higher up while riding over a mountain bike.

What a great bike

What a great bike! I love the way I can go up steep hills. No more stopping to rest halfway up! The T10 is great for trails too. When the weather is nice, I have no reason to use my car! This was a smart purchase!

The Medeo's are incredible...

The Medeo's are incredibly beautiful, functional and graceful riding machines - making transit, exploration and adventure a surely confident and joyous time. I love riding my T-10 (named Duchess) and my T-9 (named DoubleDutch) on the magnificent San Francisco hills and valleys. From the bottom of California Street to the top of Nob Hill, I rode a 25% (400 feet) grade, in 2nd gear/Turbo in 15 minutes! - and "reached halfway to the stars"!!! If only we could get to 50% E-bikes, 30% public transit, 20% private autos, and reach our vision zero goal. Can Gazelle help us get there?? I'm in...

Love my new Avignon

Got a Gazelle Avignon a few months ago, I am a regular bike commuter ~8 miles and it is a delight. No major issues. I like all the features, except 1) the bell doesnt ring very loudly and 2) cant charge with temp below 32F (which it often is in Boston winters) and cant ride befow 23F.

I am 81 and can now pass the girls on the hills.

Quality, convenience, toughness and comfort

Gazelle makes quality bikes to fit the mind and body. My ultimate C380 is full of quality components, an easily shiftable and maintenance free hub, and classic style and comfort. I’ve only got 50 miles on it so far, but am looking forward to all my future adventures. It’s exactly what I needed to get out and explore.

Research, research, research.

After two months of research, I had specs for every brand ebike in an Excel spreadsheet. My first precondition was mid-drive; I did not want a rear hub motor. My criteria were power, performance, build quality, dealer network, post-sale service, warranty, and finally, weight. Gazelle provided the best value overall and that's what I went with. After 4 years I'm 100% pleased with my choice.

Tailwind in my pocket

When I ride my Gazelle, I find myself calling to mind childhood memories and songs I haven't thought of in decades. I think they're being unlocked by experiencing the rush of popping into Turbo mode and devouring a headwind that might once have left me gassed.
There's much to be said for carrying a tailwind around in your back pocket.

The favorite bike in my quiver.

I’ve purchased 2 Gazelle e-bikes. The first was for my wife - an Ultimate C380 HMB. Unfortunately, because of multiple spine & joint problems she is uncomfortable riding any bike. However, I liked it so much I sold it (too small for me) and bought an Ultimate C380+. I live and ride on gravel roads so I added a suspension seatpost and a different saddle. I love this bike, it’s becoming my favorite ride (I have several nice bikes).
They are not inexpensive but they are very high quality. The frame is beautiful with a scratch resistant finish. The tires are durable, puncture resistant Schwalbes. The Gates belt drive is a worry and grease free delight. Other than air in the tires and rare disc brake adjustment there is virtually no maintenance.
This is not a racing bike but it’s a utilitarian, super comfortable and just plain fun bike to ride.

I bought my Gazelle Medeo T9 back in…

I bought my Gazelle Medeo T9 back in May 2021 (when e-bikes were difficult to find during the pandemic), and it has reduced my dependence on a car. I took advantage of the MIK rack and added a rear basket and panniers which worked out great for picking up groceries and take-out, and replaced the stock saddle with a Selle Royal Respiro Relaxed seat and now enjoy 20-30 mile rides along the SF Bay Trail. The Bosch Active Line Plus 3rd generation motor makes headwinds almost unnoticeable. However, my Bosch Purion display failed after 1 year, but my local Gazelle dealer had it replaced hassle-free and at no charge. Overall, a really good electric bike with quality components, build and comfort. Still rides like new after 2500 miles.

Gazelle Bikes; Only the Best

I research everything before I buy. I spent about a year researching electric bikes. The Gazelle brand came out on top of all the other brands in my opinion. From the fit & finish, appearance, functionality, options, ruggedness, longevity of ownership, customer service and serviceability. If you want a ebike that is going to last you for the long haul, this is it. No need to look any further.
