Showed a promo code but then disappeared before could use it so had to use a smaller one but still got $40 for working iPhone 11 and $5 promo code easy to do just take a while for machine to scan phones

It took many attempts to successfully sell my phone. Not knowing if my experience was normal or if there was a reason why I was having the problems that I experienced. After placing the sticker on the back of the phone the machine on several occasions, said that it was having difficulty reading the sticker. I had to detach and reattach the sticker to get it to scan. The most frustrating problem, on a few occasions, after starting the process and being given an offer amount, the machine said that it was unable to process my transaction with no explanation why. During one attempt, I was at the very end of the process and the machine was doing something and it took 10 minutes only for it to say that it would not be able to process my transaction. I didn't know if I should try again or if they felt my ID didn't match the photo taken live because I have grown a beard since my ID photo. If you have a phone that is locked with a carrier and you need to sell it, this is ideal. If you have an unlocked phone, you're better off trying to sell it over Facebook marketplace. I did that with one phone and I was able to get triple of what ecoATM was offering. Overall, because of my persistence, it was a good experience.

I didn't like that when I declined, I was offered $2-$4 more as an incentive to change my mind. It erodes my trust that I will get the best offer on my phone if I do decide to accept.

Well it was good but when it said if it o me any more money that they would send it to me thru PayPal and something else I had to choose not interested because I didn't have either one of them so I have to take a lost if the phone was worth more

The eco atm absolutely rips you off. To the point where you’ll definitely feel ashamed of your life choices. I used it twice in pure desperation. I had an unlocked s21 ultra that I turned in a year after release, 1300$ phone, flawless, eco atm payed 160$. Second time was an unlocked iPhone 13 Pro 2 years after release, flawless, another 1300$ phone, 275$. At the time of writing this the iPhone resells used like new for 600-700. Brand new 900. If you can, if you have the time, go sell your plasma instead. I regret deeply selling my devices for such a low price.However they do give you cash on the spot. So they deserve their flowers for that.

didnt take my ID and im legit 19 called support they said idk... also the machine locked my phone inside so i had to sit on hold for 40 minuets to get my phone back and i couldnt even sell it in the end 0 stars worst service ever

My aunts iPhone was stole and just because she doesn’t want to do a police report because she is a tourist yall won’t give her phone back that’s basically making yall liable because yall accept the stolen phones.

I traded in a $1400 phone that was only a year old. No it wasn’t perfect but it was still good phone the only issue was charger port would let the battery take charge so only got $40 out of it was expecting at least $100

Fast and easy process, very clear and easy to follow. The only issue that was less than great was that the money I received for my recycle came in all $1. lol. But otherwise, excellent!

Experience very good except when I tried to evaluate an older iPhone and it could not find it so it asked and I accepted a minimum $4.00 for it. Other than that it was better to se ecoATM to sell rather than donate or keep in the basement.
