Great place to purchase a morning suit ensemble

Fast delivery, quality product, excellent communications. Hard to find morning attire in US - this outfit was just what I needed, was priced fairly and was shipped quickly to the USA from the UK via DHL with end-to-end tracking. The email communications were consistent and clear, and kept me well apprised of progress. Sizing was spot on.

I ordered a tuxedo vest and when it came the button on the bottom was completely off… I emailed the customer service and they sent me a brand new one within a day and made it right. I was skeptical after the first order but when they made it right that made me a happy customer. Thank you!!

Quality of the clothing is excellent…

Quality of the clothing is excellent for the price. Fast shipping. First pair of pants were one size too small. Return process was easy. Second pair fit perfectly and arrived quickly.

I like the convenience as the items…

I like the convenience as the items came very fast.
I was shocked to see the bright purple lining on the inside and on the Vest of the three piece suit- which was ok until I found that that lining could not be changed. This really made the game changer for the groomsmen. White Slim fit shirt material was a little too thin. The pants and the jacket were decent quality for a short wear... however make sure to size up on the jacket.

A better way to buy a suit?

I am impressed by the suit and the quick shipping. I had to return 2 parts from my first order, because of the size and when these were returned the acknowledgement of the return was quick.

Having to pay for return shipping is a deterrent to placing a first order and given the sizing variation you need to assume you may return items before you are done.

The inner shirt came with a tear in it

The inner shirt came with a tear in it, had to get it repaired since I didn’t have time to wait for a new one to be shipped. Everything else was slightly to big so got it tailored but quality was very nice.

Vest wasn't like pix in Ad

The pix in the ad showed a green color of product that was inaccurate. Actual color of green was an entirely different shade when it arrived. Also, sizing was too big, which I used based on your recommendation. I have bought products from you before, at least 4x. Never had this problem before.

Even though merchandise is coming from…

Even though merchandise is coming from the U.K. to the U.S.A., we received merchandise within a week from placing the online order via DHL. Jackets ran slightly small (order 1 size larger than your norm), but returns were credited promptly.

They do not handle exchanges

They do not handle exchanges. Lovely vest. Too small. Alas. Returned vest and ordered next size as a new transaction as instructed. Second purchase fit well.
Notified that first vest had arrived back in UK and refund was in process. Paid $149 for vest and will be refunded $99.
Followed all return instructions re: original packing material and tags. Paid postage to Miami as required. So essentially paid $200 for a vest that was priced at $149. A bit of a dupe.
Ouch.

I can confirm your garments were shipped from the UK as per your DHL tracking and delivered successfully so any refund will be minus the shipping you paid.

I can see from our system your refund for order 9000080376 was for the full amount paid, including shipping so unsure were the shortage is?

We have a returns warehouse in USA where your returned garment was successfully received back to, this triggered the refund.

Im afraid we don't offer exchanges in the USA currently due to the nature of UK-US facilitation but we are working on this to improve the customer proposition further.

Amazing service speed!

The jacket arrived with incredible alacrity and in beautiful condition. The wonderful garment bag that it was packaged in will be useful for an upcoming trip. My husband broke his elbow before this arrived so I am hoping it will fit well once he gets his cast off...it sure is a handsome article of clothing!

Material Quality Acceptable, BUT….

While the quality of the Harris Tweed vests we ordered were as expected, the sizing had a-lot to be desired. We originally ordered a size ‘large’, it turned out to be too snug and returned the vest, at our expense and received a refund. We re-ordered the same vest in ‘X-large’ which turned to be truly XL. We believe the first vest was a ‘medium’ wrongly marked by the manufacturer. The XL was correctly marked. The lack of any method to contact Dobell Customer Service other than email made the whole process too arduous to try a third time. We are awaiting our refund. Note it costed us close to $20 to return the 2 vests via insured US mail, with no recourse to recoup this cost.

Firstly I apologise for any inconvenience caused by the sizing, the warehouse have now looked into this and found some of the Large vests are indeed not true to size due to a manufacturing error.

This has now been addressed to avoid going forward and we are also looking into offering Free Returns in the US as well as switching back on the phones.

I have now processed a full refund for you including the shipping costs to offset what you have paid for returning to our USA warehouse.

Quick to receive & exactly what I needed for my occassion

My order came very quickly and was almost perfect. I just received a different tie than I had ordered. I asked for a solid green tie and I got a plaid tie instead. Not a big deal as I had an alternative option I used. Everything fit to the measurements I provided. Definitely would use them in the future.
