Great experience buying a new Vaast R/1…

Great experience buying a new Vaast R/1 from these guys. I called with a few questions and got through to a knowledgeable person right away. After placing the order, I changed my mind about which version of the bike I wanted and was able to get help via chat on a Sunday evening. They processed my change request the next day, which happened to be a holiday (Labor Day) and shipped the bike the following day. Great service and price on the bike. Also a great selection of used bikes as well.

One caveat. The bike was in the factory box (which was inside the CL box) which had not been opened or inspected. The front rotor needs some tweaks, caliper pistons are sticking a bit and one shifter battery was low. This is a 2023 model so has been sitting a while. Buying in person, these issues would have been addressed by a shop. I'm a fair mechanic and can fix these issues myself but the bike isn't really rideable out of the box. Given the great price its not a big deal but something to be aware of if you're not comfortable wrenching on bicycles. In that case you may be better off buying one of their used bike which they indicate are inspected and tested.

QULITY BIKES FROM REAL BIKE GUYS

The bike was accurately described in the offer, and all of the mechanicals worked as designed. The paint chip was exactly as shown in the pictures.
NO SURPRISES! Their "certification"of pre-owned bikes looks to be a real thing - not selling junk, or bait 'n switch.
I put on the front wheel, bars and saddle and it was ready to ride. The bike was clean and the brakes and shifter were aligned and worked like new.
The box arrived in a couple of days (sooner than I anticipated) and the packaging was professional.
I will definitely be a repeat customer. It's a great way to upgrade your stable and save some money.

Everything about my purchase of a new…

Everything about my purchase of a new gravel bike from Cycle Limited went smoothly. My bike was shipped the day after ordering. I was directed to them from a Google search for a Giant Revolt gravel bike. The price was unbeatable, $400 less than anywhere even though the bike was sale priced other places. The bike was packed perfectly. Very happy with Cycle Limited.

Road Bike Purchase - 2020 Pinarello

So, I gotta say, I was hyper-skeptical about buying through an unknown to me company I hadn't had prior 1st or 2nd hand experience with. Especially for a "pre-owned" $3500+ Carbon Road Bike. A friend had bought pre-owned components without issue but this was a bit more risky.

Overall, the pre-purchase convo's appeared genuine - information was shared without frustration - folks were friendly as well. The descriptions and photos are damn accurate overall - in my experience, there was only one item/issue not disclosed but frankly it doesn't appear intentional (2 teeth on an otherwise new chainring were damaged) to the credit of Cycle Limited - without ANY argument they shipped me a new replacement at no cost.
Packaging was good and shipping times reasonable for ground shipping (Florida to NY was <5days).
The condition of the bike was possibly better than the photos suggested on the site. So I can say it arrived as advertised.
Would I consider buying from Cycle Limited again? Absolutely. I gave them 5 stars because despite an issue with the chainring (which would have cost them 1-2 stars) - they did the right thing in replacing it without me having to go through hopes - They didn't ask, but I preemptively took and provided some photos from the unboxing, got a LBS quote to replace it (confirming it was damaged) and sent an email off to them with both - next email from CL was telling me they were shipping a new one. 4-5days later I had it. To me, that's an above-average customer service experience for a purchase of this nature. Bravo!

The Best

The best. Great care was taken to ship and prepare the bicycle. They were responsive to emails and communicative. I highly recommend buying from them.
Also, it has the best bar tape job on any bicycle I’ve purchased, new or used. Excellent craftsmanship. I’d have them do all my tape if I lived closer. Bravo.

Super Great

Placing my order was easy, I have a new bank and after I clicked the purchase button, it bounced back with a fraud alert. I am so excited about this bike I kinda panicked thinking my bike might get sold, so I called to leave a message, and to my surprise I got a phone call there is a 3 hour difference so He woke up after midnight to call me back and confirm purchase! I am so excited for this bike, I haven’t been the same since mine was stolen

Great bike! Bad tune up

The bike came just as advertised and I love the bike itself. However when i removed the bike from the box the rear tubeless tire was flat in need of new sealant. When I actually rode the bike the rear derailleur was out of tune. I’d the claimed tune up was done both of these issues should have been found before it was shipped

Terrible Service and Poor Quality Product

I contacted Cycle Limited and specified I needed a race-ready road bike for my national championship in a month and a half. Mike assured me it was “race ready.” Upon arrival, the headset was detached, bearings were destroyed and corroded, and the wheels were untrue, making noise as if something was loose inside. The box showed no damage, but they blamed shipping. They offered $100 credit for a $180 repair, which they never compensated. Extremely disappointed.

I had a great experience selling my…

I had a great experience selling my bike to Cycle Limited and purchasing a bike from them. I had also submitted my bike to another popular online company. Cycle Limited gave me in store credit of $1000 more than the other company! I took advantage of this and purchased a new bike through them. The new bike came packed well and ready to roll. The bike assembled easily and shifted flawlessly out of the box. Highly recommend Cycle Limited!

expectations exceeded!

I was nervous about buying a relatively expensive bike without laying my actual eyes on it, but the high-quality photos and other reviews made me feel like it’d work out ok. Delivery was fast! The packaging was exceptional, everything was packed securely in a heav-duty bike box that I’m keeping for travel. The bike is exactly as described, and I love it. Will definitely look at cycle limited again when I replace my mountain bike.

Great experience - fast shipping!

I recently purchased a bike from Cycle Limited (2021 Trek Supercaliber) and it was such a great experience!

1. The pictures truly represented the condition of the bike
2 Fast shipping (2 days for me)
3. Carefully packed with minor assembly (just needed to install handlebars and front wheel)
