I thought this company was ok

I thought this company was ok . Initially it was and then the holdings lost money in covid and never recovered as my other investments did . Then they were moved to AJ bell with little warning . Then suddenly sold off losing me a large amount of money . APALLING service

It would be very ignorant to believe these people truly cares about you because i have been treated so poorly and even customer service has refused to pay attention to the issues i encountered , this is a direct contrast to the services offered on my head- er because since i gotthem i have known peace on a different level ,

Money lost

As previous reviewers have said - investment with this company through the app was easy and transparent. Although admittedly my returns were not good, this is a risk you take with investing! However, it then moved to AJ Bell which is far more complicated, their ETFs are closed, and now I've lost about 25% of my initial investment.

Hello

Hello. I’m new to the investment world and I was very happy with how Circa handled me from the beginning. However, they started to make things hard as my returns were getting smaller significantly before I turned to Aegissoteria and got 90% of my investments back.

This company is a big scum

This company is a big scum. I initially joined and this seemed ok. I then decided to take majority of my money out and left a bit. It appears i can nolonger access the account . my login in is disenabled and ev every time i try and login it states error something went wrong. These are the same details i have USED ALL ALONG. . You cant make phone call enquiries and enquiries are just on line.

Account moved to AJ Bell - ETFs closed

Management of my investments were recently passed over to AJ Bell because they wanted to "focus on their ETFs". They're actively closing these at the moment with all of them closing by the end of August. Whilst this isn't a criticism of AJ Bell, their platform is far more complicated and not what I signed up for and I expect to be left out of pocket.

The communication and transparency from a company that describes itself as green and ethical is an absolute disgrace and will make me very wary of using similar platforms in the future, which is a real shame. Circa5000 have shown a shocking lack of respect towards their customers

Accessible, ethical, ticks all the boxes.

Really impressed with both ethos and accessibility. App is very easy to use and manage. I have also had personalised support, always quick to respond and follow up. Performance may not have been as positive as hoped yet, but given the times we've been through I feel totally confident to invest long term with Circa.

Satisfied user for 3+years

I've been using Circa5000s (previously tickr) general investment isa for several years now. I'm happy with performance, I make regular top ups every month but also use it like a savings account, so when I need money I take from it. This hasn't been an issue and has continued to grow my investment. Nice UI and features, I also use the £6 monthly carbon offsetting option.

Simple, Clear Investing, Great App

Can’t fault circa5000, app is easy to navigate. They regularly update it with new reads on the current climate and investing. They also helped find and move an old pension onto their system, which was surprisingly quick and required no effort from myself as they covered it all. 5 stars

A brilliant company.

Customer service is outstanding. It’s genuinely one of the best I’ve dealt with. If I use the app based messenger I always get a prompt reply and staff have always been able to resolve any issues.

Personally, I really like the “Explore” section of the app. It’s very informative and argues the case for impact investment well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CIRCA5000 to anyone looking to make a more positive impact with their money.

If you're not investing in Circa5000 you're missing out

Love Circa5000! I have been a long term member and I don't have a negative thing to say (and I've referred the platform to multiple people).

Good returns, good support, brilliant UX and platform, great educational blogs, I really like the founders, and you're investing in impact and the future! It's a no brainer really.

Easy to use with excellent customer service

Really great company that provides me with some fantastic companies to invest in. Very little effort on my part, but knowing it can make a small difference to how the world is run makes sense. If you recycle and try your best to reduce your personal impact this is the next logical step. I’ve invested a small amount for a long time here and have found it easy to both deposit and withdraw thousands of pounds relatively quickly. Great customer service too.

Helpful team , pleasant service!

This is a great new company and very helpful team. Have many Green ways of saving and investment. Their customer service was excellent when I had an issue all via an easy app that even an old boy like me could work out. If you want to save ethically and environmentally you must try them !

Imvest and do good for the planet

Been looking at ways to improve my portfolio and do better for the world and with Circa50000 I can do both. App is very user friendly and team were super helpful when I needed some support. I'm only at the beginning of investing journey but so far with what the team offer it looks like I'm in for the long run.

I opened my ISA in January 2020…

I opened my ISA with what was then Tickr in January 2020, and have regularly invested since then. This was my first experience of any online investment, and I am so pleased to have chosen Tickr (now Circa5000) as their website is informative and easy to use. Also I have been happy with the return on my investment over the long term, and am now drawing on that investment to help me set up for my early retirement. Exercise extreme caution

Having used the app for several years, I was pretty happy with it. The returns weren't as good as claimed, but they never are and they were still better than I could find elsewhere. Also, I did really like the idea of of investing in worthwhile causes. However, with no notice or consultation, my account got moved to AJ Bell, and I'm now stuck in a situation where the value of my investments has plummeted massively and I can't access what money I do have left anyway. So, the sum total of my experience of Circa 5000 is all the money I invested over the years has gone overnight.

Easy to use, most impactful investments

Customer support is excellent. It's a very easy to use app. And they invest using impact investments which are the gold standard if you want to invest your savings ethically in a way that will actually benefit the planet / humanity!

Have been using the app for 3 years now. Returns have generally been solid.

Great platform

Great platform, easy to use and understand. Customer service is spot on, always been able to answer my questions and help with use. They also have a great podcast which makes it feel a lot more personal than others. Overall 10/10

Have been moth balling my requests to…

Have been moth balling my requests to transfer from my daughters j stocks and shares for over 9month now. Won’t return my emails or calls and the JISA bank. Imagine stealing from a 2 years old….
