Superb trainers and programs
My experience with Caliber has been the best of the many apps and programs I have used over 25+ years of working out.
The three things I like best are my trainer, the tailored program, and the ease of using the app integrated with Chronometer.
Michelle Melzl is, hands down, the best trainer I have worked with. Her focus on functional fitness and fueling the body for work is exceptional. She gives me feedback in a way that is both intellectual and motivating. I like to know the “why” behind what I’m doing as it helps to codify it in my mind and develop the habit. As well, we focus on the myriad progress points that I can identify and weight is not one of them. It’s a data point, but rarely in the conversation about my training/progress.
The program she has developed is suited to my current lifestyle of a mid-40s working parent with >1 hr a day to focus of my fitness. The program is well-balanced and easy to track in the app. I love the functionality of tracking progress, seeing my last recorded weight and reps, the integrated timer, notes and more.
The integration with Chronometer and great. Having used other food tracking apps, I find this to rank at the top even with some improvements in mind.
For anyone looking for progressive overload training, either to learn it or come back to it, this app and the trainers available are excellent. I look forward to seeing how I will progress and how my program will change over time.
