"Skinny tires" for 27 inch wheels are geting difficult to find. Bike Tires Direct provided just what I wanted for my forty year old touring bikes. The post office slightly messed up the experience by shipping to Alaska by way of Puerto Rico...but I did receive the tires in a reasonable amount of time. I was not inconvenienced.

I’ve purchased a frame, 2 sets of wheels (Zipp and Enve) a complete SRAM Red build and miscellaneous clothing and high end accessories from these guys over the past 3 years and they are simply great. Speedy shipping and quick processing of refunds.

I selected a "B" item (open box return) seat post. When I went to the cart, the price went up $20.
I still want the item but am not sure what the final cost will be.
Update, I checked my account and BTD had allready corrected the charge to me for this item. All of my previous purchases and a few returns have been without issue. BTD appears above average in this regard.
