Making decluttering almost fun!

I am starting the process of "decluttering" my home, especially closets. I had a box of used cellphones and went online to find Big Sky Recycling. The process was easy, easy, easy and am so glad whatever can be used will be helping others.

Easy peasy

Easy peasy. Had saved my families many cell phones over the years and had no idea what to with them. I knew most were not usable but when I Googled what to do with old cell phones I discovered Big Sky Recycling. Others wanted me to drive 10 to 20 miles to drop them off but BSR allowed me to print a free shipping label to return them to them so all I had to do was put them in a shoebox with some packing and drop off at local Post Office. Sounded like funds they derive from them go to a good cause as well and not going in a landfill!! Easy peasy!

You did EXACTLY what you described as…

You did EXACTLY what you described as your service. The label for the package was sent, download, and applied to the package - and that's GOOD!
NOTE: I never received any CONFIRMATION that you had received the package I had mailed. NOTE - that should be #1 on your "TO DO LIST!"

The perfect solution

I was so happy to discover Big Sky Recycling! Like many people, I had old phones and tablets to dispose of but worried about security. After a little research, I felt confident in donating my items to Big Sky. I was thrilled to see that I could even choose who would benefit from my donation. The process was seamless; I received the mailing label immediately and then received notification when my items had been received.

Eliminated my guilt

So nice to have an easy way to manage old tech. Ours might be too old to reuse, but it beat putting nine old phones in the trash. TBH, we didn't have the ability to power up old phones to delete personal info, but we're hopeful that the company's policies and other ratings mean no one knows anything about us (frankly, it's hard to believe that given the age of the phones we sent in will be anything but reduced to parts).

very satisfying experience.

The overall goals of the company and the institutions they support. Especially the military. My personal donation pick. I inquired about data safety on a Sunday morning and received a very nice reply that same morning and it put my mind at ease. Impressive seeing that other places wait weeks or offer no reply. I received a follow up when my old phones were received as well, nice touch!

Quick and easy

Quick and easy. I was able to get a prepaid postage printed and put on the box to just take down to the post office. There was nothing else to it.

Free shipping on 5 phones…

I was unable to print out the online shipping label, so they mailed me a label. Shipping is free if sending 5 or more phones. Also they will destroy your personal information on the phones you donate if you are unable to do it yourself.

Great Service

After contacting them, they sent me a postage paid shipping label, expressed their appreciation. And after receiving the phones they sent me a thank you to let me know they had received them. I felt they were providing a great service by cleaning and removing and personal information and recycling these used phones to people who really need them! Thank you all!

Big Sky's work is very impressive

Big Sky's work is very impressive, which is why I easily bundled up five old cellphones and shipped them out. The company not only helps the planet through its recycling, but also aids battered women and others in need. Nice work gang.

Super easy process to recycle old…

Super easy process to recycle old phones. Print the label, ship the phones and receive confirmation they have been received. So much better than throwing them in a landfill. I really appreciate that they verify that any remaining personal data is removed as well. If you have over 4 items, they pay the shipping. Will use again!
