I often need to add referencing to huge arrays and adding $$ to each line was a real pain. That function is about all I use ASAP for but I'm sure there's a wealth of other functions I'd use too if I just had the time to explore

The tool is easy to use and understand while light weight so that it doesn't slow down your program much. In its capabilities it is fairly shallow but it is very efficient in what it does. If you have repetitive but easy comprehensible tasks that dont justify the programming or use of makros it is great.
The benefits increase exponentialy with the size of the database. If you have to transform sheets with over a couple hundred rows it is a real time saver.

I have worked with ASAP utilities for many years at different companies. It is the perfect tool for cleaning data and a huge time saver.
The speed with which you can achieve data manipulation, imports, exports etc. is remarkable and trustworthy.
When I started at my new company, it was one of the things I asked for in my initial interview as I have relied on it to make my life easier in the past. I showed my new boss what it can do and it took 3 minutes of showing him for him to approve the purchase of a license.

Easy installation. The main function I use "Convert unrecognizable numbers (text?) to numbers is a massive time saver. I'm sure I'll use the other function as time goes on.

IYH Long time user (decade+) told me about , did not disappoint me. I download the free tier of ASAP utilities months ago but never got around to really using it. Then last week a co-worker was going bananas under stress trying to perform certain consolidation and subsequent slicing and txt csv export multiple files of a xlsx file w many sheets. I used ASAP and literally solved the problem in under five minutes who was working unsuccessfully the last two three hours on. Then realized the free license did not cover business use cases, did not want to be a thief so bought the full license tl/dr such a real productivity boost time saver even just using it once for business makes it worthwhile to buy.

This truly does a whole host of tasks that Excel should but does not. There are at least 20 extras which I use all the time. This saves a tremendous amount of time and effort. I recommend it enthusiastically. So you understand my rating, I have used Excel since its beginnings and have developed good proficiency (can write some programs in VB, but not the most complex ones). Overall, this is an outstanding product.

This is a good product; it has saved me many hours of work. There are periodic issues when Microsoft pushes out updates. But this is a problem faced by several third party, Office-related, desktop application developers.
