Seven years ago, I made a trip to New York City and had the pleasure of meeting Dan, Will, and Wes. From the very first moment, I was captivated by the experience. Since then, I have come to see Articles of Style not just as a brand, but as an essential part of my professional journey. Over the years, I’ve purchased numerous pieces for various occasions, each one reflecting the impeccable craftsmanship and world-class guidance they provide.

Articles of Style is a brand I’ve grown with, and I sincerely cherish the relationship I’ve built with them. What Dan and his team have created is nothing short of extraordinary, something that words alone can hardly convey. It’s truly an experience that must be lived to be fully appreciated. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

After following AoS since its inception, I was finally able to pull the trigger on purchasing a suit for a special occasion. While the suit took much longer to receive than anticipated, the AoS team took care of everything and made sure my suit arrived in time for my wedding. I am still blown away by how well it fits based on a few photos/measurements. Can't wait to show it off.

I just finished my capsule experience with Articles of Style, and I’ve worn all the garments. I highly recommend getting in touch with Dan for a consultation. I had a modest budget and wasn’t sure what I could do. But I knew I wanted to recapture some of the sartorial spirit I’d lost in recent years.

Dan and the Articles of Style team obviously cares about classic menswear. That’s apparent in the garments. But my conversations with Dan made it clear that he also cares about his customers. My budget was no issue, and he understood all the challenges I face with menswear. I ended up with a five-piece capsule that packs a punch and offers plenty of options.

Dan and the AoS team don't know it but they've been there at several of the most defining moments in my life. From my first MTM suit, to my wedding and refreshing the wardrobe after closing the biggest deal of my professional career. As others have noted the customer service from Dan, Wes, Morgan et all is top notch. While I do miss the in-person experience they do a fantastic job of personalizing the experience virtually and making sure that the fit is dialed in. Look forward to the fall wardrobe refresh.

Went to AOS for my Wedding Reception outfit. By far the smoothest process from start to finish out of all of our vendors, especially our initial call with the leader of the team Dan himself. He took the time to give us advice and make recommendations that proved to be a total game changer for the biggest day of my life. As a software engineer, I plan on being a lifelong client moving forward for work attire as well.

I’ve been a long time follower of this brand and love watching Dan walk through the capsule wardrobes they create. I finally pulled the trigger on a dark blue, wool knit sweater and I absolutely love the it. The sweater is clearly a very quality knit, well constructed, and the tailoring and fit makes this a super versatile piece. Really excited to have this as wardrobe staple.

From the initial consultation to the final fit, every experience with Dan and the team was outstanding. For years I've been wearing custom-tailored suits, but none have match the quality and style of AOS. Indeed, I had the standard greys and navies, but Dan pushed me to be bold and experimental, and I've never felt more comfortable or confident in my clothes. Just last weekend I wore one of the outfits we built for me, and I got compliments from strangers about my style. The experience from start to finish was amazing. I needed a custom fit pant suit and vest for an event I was attending and as a tall, curvy, postpartum mother I was just not finding what I needed from any online store. I reached out to Dan and he not only helped me with my main outfit, but suggested a capsule wardrobe that has been my main go-to for all my work events. The fabric is so high quality, people notice and compliment me every time I wear my AOS fits. I will never buy from a department store again. These clothes will last a lifetime, worth every penny.

Dan and his team do a great job from start to finish. Beginning with a zoom call with Dan to discuss my wardrobe and what I was looking for, to the fitting process, and ultimately the final garments, each step was easy and efficient. The pieces look great and fit great as well. Customer service is responsive and helpful if there are any issues or if any minor fit issues need to be corrected. Cannot recommend AoS highly enough and will be a customer for a long time.

I have watched Dan and the AoS team bootstrap their business from nothing. I have dealt with a number of tailors in NYC and London over the last 20 years. AoS are the best out there at curating classical men’s fashion pieces that can be mixed and matched and will never go out of style. They have a mixture of old school customer service and new school technology that is nonexistent anywhere else. The quality is excellent and the content in their site is top notch. And not least when you go hang with them, they are great guys!

I've been blessed to work with Dan and the team several times over the past two years. The AOS team provides some of the best service and customer care of any goods and services provider that I use. And, of course, their products are fantastic, and draw complements everywhere I go.

The team at AOS produces amazing semi custom and bespoke menswear. I don’t yet have experience with their bespoke products but I plan to soon. The thing that sets them apart from other MTM menswear companies is the ability to hop on a zoom with an expert who can adjust fits from the ready to wear collection. Dan (the owner) was honestly interested in getting to know and me and what my needs and goals were. I know he is there to sell, but he never tried to “sell” me. It was more like talking to a friend of a friend who understands timeless menswear and really wants to help men dress better. The AOS pieces I have purchased so far get lots of compliments and I feel confident and professional but not stuffy or over dressed when I wear them.

A supposedly new coat not only has several loose threads, but after I have worn it 3 times it has already started to come undone. A fraud

Funny they say they don’t have any customer under this name when I they even sent me an order by mistake once and they didn’t even apologize for that.

Asking me to send back the item for fixing 6 months after the issues it’s theatre. I already had a reliable seamstress fix the loosing threads which started coming out after wearing my jacket no more than 3 times.

Articles of Style is my go-to for tailored clothing. Dan and his team are extremely knowledgable of their craft, and they truly care about their clients. My suit collection (7 and counting) is comprised exclusively of AoS these days. I don't even want to work with other tailors anymore because they have my fit dialed in exactly how I like it.
The few times they've made minor slips in their earlier years (different lapel than ordered, or side adjuster breaking prematurely), they took ownership and replaced at no cost.
The people leaving negative reviews are probably not experienced in bespoke/tailored clothing and are expecting their first custom suits to make them look comparable to social media-influencers/models. A perfect fit doesn't exist. A great personalized fit does, and it takes time to find. AoS does everything they can to help you to find that fit, leaving you looking and feeling your best!

Overall experience with Articles of Style has been excellent. Everything I have purchased from Aritcles has been great quality and a great look. Beyond me just liking the clothes I've also gotten compliments on some of the clothings look and quality from friends and acquaintances. Anecdotally a tailor friend said the stitching on the pants was of a high quality which while over my head was interesting to hear. Only real issue I had was that I am myself am hard size fit so I had to return some pieces in exchange for a different size. With the delivery time already being over a month the purchase and exchange processes end up being long. In the future if I am unsure on sizing I'll order two different sizes at once and return one. Alternatively, I will give their Bespoke option a try.

I totally enjoyed working with Dan and his team. They know their stuff, and the final product definitely shows. I had many questions and emails during the process; but no question went unanswered, and I was reassured along the way. Dan listened, got to know me, and the process was very collaborative. He did not try to sell me something that I did not want or did not need. Each piece of the finished wardrobe both fit perfectly AND looked spectacular. All my qualms were put to rest when I saw the quality of everything. I’ve received so many compliments on my new clothes, and proudly point them to Articles of Style. From start to finish the customer service, experience and working with Dan was an absolute pleasure! He understand exactly what I was going for, helped me make great decisions on the suit and even suggestions for shoes to make it all work. The suit is an incredible compliment magnet and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to get such a perfect fit without ever stepping outside my house!

Dan and the team were great. I am a 26-year-old man in a power wheelchair. I have a strange body type and often struggle to find a menswear that is flattering and stylish. For Articles Of Style, that was not an issue. Admittedly, I was sceptical that they would be able to create something right away that might be able to fit me, but to my surprise, I was wrong. It's now the best-fitting suit I own and in my life, I have been to three other custom tailors. I was always a follower and it was validating to have a great experience. Without a doubt, I will return. Not to mention, they were delightful and happy to answer any questions.
