Let's face it, buying a flag is pretty "cut and dried" these days... or is it? I, for one, wouldn't be happy with an American Flag made in China? The flag that arrived was sewn such that the stripes and blue field looped around the pole rather than using a white add on strip. It looked a little tacky. It arrived with only one anti-tangle spinning loop. The pole was lightweight and the polished topper was silver plastic. On the plus side, they did provide a full refund less the shipping cost.

The U.S. flag with the thin blue line design is only available in nylon. Nylon is a great choice for flags because the lightweight material means they dry quickly and fly well. Polyester is generally recommended for high wind environments like coastal areas. This is, by far, one of the BEST and most BEAUTIFUL Marine Corps Flags I've seen. It is wonderfully made and stands up to flying proudly from the back of my Marine husbands truck, even on the highway! Absolutely NO signs of fading, tearing or seams coming apart.
