I ordered a lovely, Lilac chair...it was sort of easy to design the chair, except you can't see what you're ordering...no visual of the final product. The chair turned out beautifully.

First i received my order within 2 weeks(much faster than promised)
although there was damage to part of the frame the seat was fine i then called to report the damage and promptly received a replacement frame 2 days later. Everyone was very nice
Not only do i love the product , i appreciated the prompt and courteous service as well

I love my new chairs! They surround my fetching 1950’s table with the same gray marbling that I chose for the chair piping. They are sturdy, beautiful and exactly what I wanted! I appreciated the great selection of colors/patterns from which to choose. So nice to know that American Chairs is out there to supply the quality that I require! I really liked the option to double the seat thickness! My custom order of six chairs was received within a few weeks! I also really liked the packaging that you used. I am a devout recycler, and there was absolutely no waste, no non-environmental tape to remove. I had the boxes broken down and ready to recycle in no time.

I ordered two bar stools. One had small tear from shipping. I notified American Chair and they quickly corrected. The chairs are great and sturdy. 100% would recommend!!

I ordered two bar stools, red with foot rests and backs. They are gorgeous. Great workmanship. Shipped quickly, nothing damaged. Fairly easy assembly. 8 screws to put two chairs base with seat. Phillips screw driver needed. the cardboard holes needed to be more exactly punched so one can precisely line up base to seat. Punched holes needed to be larger so the screw holes were easy to line up when assembling. Some of the holes punched in the cardboard obscured the holes partially which made assembly difficult to do on the 1st stool. I used scissors to slightly cut away the cardboard to make alignment way easier on the second chair assembly. Love the chairs!

My order was sent back by courier as not able to deliver. A serious error as my address has not changed in years. American Chairs found my table and chairs. They ensured the order was delivered to proper address. With two countries involved no easy task.

The chairs are exactly what we wanted! When we originally ordered them we only needed 2 chairs. Now we will be moving closer to family and will need some additional ones. Once we get settled we will be ordering at least 2 more!

The Hawkins House
I just bought a house that is 102 years old and I am trying to restore it as vintage as I can. The floor in the kitchen is made of a black and white square vinyl, so I wanted to get vintage chairs to coordinate. All the chairs I found needed a lot of work to restore so I went to the next best thing-American Chairs. The chairs are very comfortable and match the decor in the kitchen. Everyone who visits loves these chairs. I love them too!!

Ordering was easy. I even forgot to give the specific height, and was contacted nearly immediately so they could get my chair out the door fast! The quality of the chair is great. I'd certainly buy from American Chairs again! Only 4 stars because two bolts were missing in my order. They sent me replacements, but I needed the chair that weekend (before the replacements arrived), so I had to take a trip to the store to buy what I needed to be able to use the chair.
